I can't leave anything undone, and so, since I started with Part 1 back in November 2023, I may as well continue, right?

In Part 2 we'll look at a few prompts (really only highlighting 1) that my team and I used to create a toooon of content last year, as well as a variation of doing it, and an easy grammar/punctuation prompt!

A FEW NOTES BEFORE YOU MOVE FORWARD:

A prompt is only as good as the prompt-er - so please prompt respectfully and don't abuse any of these prompts (i.e. run it exactly like you see it, and take the exact word-for-word answer and don't read over it/edit it/make it more into your style and tone.)

Also, if you have any prompts you would like to share, feel free to share them in the comments section.

So, let's get started!

Our 700+ Word Prompt Revealed!

When I first started using ChatGPT, I hated having to re-write a prompt every-time, adding a new keyword, and pasting the same thing multiple times over and over. So I created a super long prompt for myself and my writers to use to get the job done.

This was origionally created waaaaaayyyyyyy before uploading files, plugins or GPTS were around, so while some of the prompts may be good, I'd take the actual prompt with a grain of salt now (it could be improved upon as a whole, but I'll leave it to you guys to do so).

Prompt:

I need to automate you, so please listen very carefully to my instructions and follow along closely. Don't say anything else other than what I tell you to. Only follow the If statements that I have placed below. Do nothing else.
If you understand these instructions, please say "Provide me with your keyword". Once you receive my keyword, ask me which Section you should follow next. When I give you the section letter, only follow that specific section.
Section A:
I need you to give me an outline based on the keyword I just gave you. Give me a catchy title and provide clear sections with subsections and expand subsections to make this outline more detailed. Format this outline using markdown for section headings and bullets and sub-bullets for sub-sections. Don't give me any paragraph summaries. Only give me headings and bullet points.
Always remember that this recipe is for family meal prep recipes. only give me outline for introduction and conclusion
Section B:
I need to make sure you understand the outline that you have just posted above. Don't respond with your take on each part of the outline. Instead, give me a short summary of the piece as a whole so I know you've understood this outline.
Section C:
Create an introduction where the first paragraph contains the keyword phrase on the first sentence. Make it more personal in tone, and write it in the first person narrative. Write 150 words only.
Section D:
Break the outline up into the sections you've created, and write me the first section of the blog post in an informal and natural style of writing. Use conversational language and words that are relatable to the readers. Use a voice that is helpful and informative, and adopt a tone that is friendly and approachable, with a touch of excitement and enthusiasm. The text should be helpful and insightful, backing up points with evidence where possible. Expand each part of the outline to create a detailed section.
Use these strategies:
– Write in the first person narrative
– Use examples with phrases like "Personally, I" or "For example, I" to help illustrate examples to the reader. Use an example for every bullet point.
– Avoid unclear antecedents at the start of a sentence
– Back up main points with evidence and examples
– Use real world examples about meal prepping to relate to the user
– Break down and expand on points to create a richer longer-form piece of content
– Don't repeat phrases
– Format your output using markdown.
Section E:
Write the next section of the blog post that you haven't wrote yet in an informal and natural style of writing. Use conversational language and words that are relatable to the readers. Use a voice that is helpful and informative, and adopt a tone that is 30 yrs old bubbly lady who is friendly and approachable, with a touch of excitement and enthusiasm. The text should be helpful and insightful, backing up points with evidence where possible. Expand each part of the outline to create a detailed section.

Use these strategies:
– Avoid unclear antecedents at the start of a sentence
– Write in the first person narrative
-do not self-reference regarding your age
– Use examples with phrases like "Personally, I" or "For example, I" to help illustrate examples to the reader
– Back up main points with evidence and examples
– Use real world examples to relate to the user
– Break down and expand on points to create a richer longer-form piece of content
– Don't repeat phrases
– Format your output using markdown.

After you have written the next section, wait for me to say continue.

If I say continue, write the next section by following everything in Section E. Repeat this until all sections are written. Ask me which section you should follow next.

Section F:
Create a conclusion with Catchy Title and Call to action (CTA). In the CTA, explain how the free meal prep plan will help them:
- make sure to have multiple paragraphs and in the first person narrative.
-do not use the word "congratulations"
-write in an informative and engaging tone
-Write 150 words only

Section G:
Give me 5 catchy titles for the article generated. by following these guidelines

- always put main keyword towards the front of the main title
- don't repeat keyword
- be engaging and descriptive
- maximum of 65 characters only

Section H:
Create me a Meta Title and Meta Description. by following these guidelines

- limit it to 160 characters only
- add the keywords to get highlighted
- be engaging
- leave a cliffhanger

When Section H is written, say "Your Output Has Been Generated!

How it was used: My first iteration of this was actually with a bunch of conditional formatted language (IF I say this, THEN you do that), and then I broke it down into sections.

Basically you just paste the prompt, and then let ChatGPT prompt you for which section you want to choose next - each section will do a specific task, like creating a CTA, an introduction, an outline, or writing the content.

It was a pretty fast and effiicent way for my writers to get their rough drafts created, so that they could publish about 4 articles a day each.

Highlights: Having ChatGPT Prompt you with what to do next was super helpful, since all you need to do is just say "section a", and it will do it, and you can easily skip around if you don't want something in it (like just jump to section F/G). Something to think about for the future.

What About Using Your Own Articles To Have ChatGPT Know How To Write Like You?

This next prompt was actually created by my writer (who's moved on to become my sales funnel strategist - if anyone wants someone to create a Customer Avatar/look over your sales page and/or funnel, let me know).

At least I think he wrote it - I'll just give him all the credit for right now, haha.

He used different Plugins for ChatGPT to analyze previously written articles, so that ChatGPT would write new/future articles like the previous ones.

Prompt(s):

(First prompt)
Analyze the articles below from my website wegetscammedforyou.com, and use them as references for my writing style and the tone that I'm using when writing an article. (understand and remember the content of these web pages)
These are the links for my articles:
https://wegetscammedforyou.com/is-listhue-com-a-scam/
https://wegetscammedforyou.com/is-datongitshop-com-a-scam/

(Second prompt)
Now please write a fresh, appealing, and informational article that will hook readers using the same tone and writing style as the articles that you analyzed.
Simplify the words, and use transitional phrases or words within your content to guide your readers through your content, making it easier to follow your train of thought.
I need you to add unique titles, NLP-friendly headings, a 4 Sentence introduction, and a 150-word conclusion paragraph when you write the article.
Here is my outline:
(H1) "Is anglingdoutlet.shop a scam? (insert here something to warn Fishing Enthusiast) <60 characters only> <do not use words like beware or caution)
Examples that you should use as a reference only: <Do not directly copy these examples!>
Is anglingdoutlet.shop a scam? (Fishing Enthusiast, Learn The Facts!)
Write a 4 Sentence introduction
- In the first sentence of the introduction, answer the query/keyword in a concise NLP-friendly 2-3 sentence "Is anglingdoutlet.shop a scam? Yes, anglingdoutlet.shop is a scam. They claim to be an "Angling Direct" store that sells outdoor fishing needs. provide an intriguing question.
(H2)(insert power word here, do not use the words "alarming" "undeniable" and "startling) Facts That Expose anglingdoutlet.shop as a scam
Write an appealing 2 sentence introduction for this section (make it unique, but still with the same writing tone and writing style from my previous articles that you have analyzed earlier)
1. anglingdoutlet.shop asserts to be an "Angling Direct store, they even use similar about us page content and store address, However, there is no proof that this is true. Not even on the official website of Angling Direct, anglingdirect.co.uk, a well-known brand for fishing needs acknowledge or announce something about anglingdoutlet.shop.
2. anglingdoutlet.shop didn't provide any valid contact details such as contact number or email address. However, after I subscribed to their site, I received a welcome email from them using the email address email@flysservice.com, and in this message, they also said that if I have any questions, I can contact them through the email address tina@servicesyx.com.
After digging deeper, I discovered that the email address email@flysservice.com is linked to ad scams and scam sites. Here is the list of scam sites that I got from the records on scamwatcher.com:
zenhin.com
jonak.fr
joliemagasinnice.com
cabaiabag.com
kidsclothingsale.shop
majeoutletstore.shop
maje2-froemsaas.shop
alvieromartinisonlins.com
el-ganso.shop
vertbaudet.fr
cabaiasaleg.shop
While the email address is also linked to other dubious websites. Here is the list of scam sites that I got from the records on scamwatcher.com:
sephoramakeup.shop
zenhim.com
diptysale.top
minelli4-fr.oemsaas.shop
diptysale-fr.shop
minellisaleonline.com
sezanesale-top.fr
caroll-fr.top
kiabikids.com
car8888888.oemsaas.shop
kiabikids.shop
sezanefr-sale.shop
sezanefr-sale.top
diptysale-fr.shop
3. anglingdoutlet.shop has most of its products on discounts. from 64%-96% discount.
Write a 50-word ending for this subtopic. (make it unique, but still use the writing tone and style from my previous articles
In the conclusion answer this query "Is anglingdoutlet.shop a scam" in a concise NLP-friendly 2-4 sentence format (Explain it in a detailed way). then remind them to steer clear of this site. then provide a compelling ending.
Write the article entirely using the tone and writing style from the previous articles that you have analyzed. Make it appealing. Include the sources that I provided.
Do you understand?

How it was used: This is actually a prompt we used for a "don't get scammed" website we have, and we wanted ChatGPT to write articles in a similar fashion.

It's split into two prompts - providing ChatGPT with the same two-three articles to analyze each time, so that it comes away with the same exact idea of what and how to write like use.

Then the second prompt is just a few instructions on how to phrase the content, and the detailed outline that we wanted in our content (the outline was created strictly via human review without any AI adding it's influence).

Highlights: If you're using ChatGPT (and more specifically GPTS), make a few of your best articles PDFS that you can upload, so that ChatGPT can get a better idea of what and how you write. Still include all the necessarily prompts to keep it from "embarking" on it's own journey, but, well, you get my point, I think.

One Line Prompt To Fix Any Punctuation Errors

Of course, we can't leave without adding the one-liner prompt I quickly whipped up to help some of my writers who just cud nott writ correctedly, ya no?

Prompt:

Proofread the below for spelling and grammar, without changing the wording at all:

Share Link: https://chat.openai.com/share/22abbe84-2dec-4c7a-90cc-1ff9a1acfb24

How it was used: Pretty simple to understand, but in a nutshell, you just paste everything that you've written underneath it that you want checked, and it was update it accordingly.

You may need to prompt it/edit the prompt to tell you where the changes were, if you want to know.

Highlights: I like this prompt because it doesn't actually change any of the wording - so everything is still left intact, and it's not adding any of the words that most of us are trying to avoid in our language. Worth the extra step to gave your content a little more grammar free in my opinion.

The Big Question Though - Did Any Of This Content Rank?

Good question to ask!

And the answer is, well, yes and no.

Most of the content was ranking pretty well (both in Google and Pinterest). But below are the three screenshots of GSC of the three different sites we used these prompts with, and you guys can be the judge:

Site 1:

As you can see from the screenshot above, we were actually doing pretty well with all this content, and then the Google algo update help teach us, well, humility. It looks like we're slightly still increasing in the rankings, but not by much.

Site 2:

This is the second site that we dumped a decent amount of content on, and it's actually been doing surprisingly well - we're seeing a large increase in Google rankings. Not sure exactly why, but it has the highest DA of them all, which may (?) be a factor. Don't know.

Site 3:

This last site saw an significant increase in traffic (we used the second prompt for this one). However, there isn't any competition in this niche, hence the reason why it's easy to quickly rank for things (however, you have to literally stay on top of this or, as you can see, you'll traffic will go back down - I was dumping too much money into the site and not see enough of a return, hence the decline in traffic, sadly).

Thoughts?

So there you have it - some more prompts that my team and I used to create content for our sites.

Let me know what you guys think!

I love the specific strategies you prompt ChatGPT to use, such as “avoid unclear antecedents.” It’s so annoying when it puts “oh,” and “so,” at the front of several sentences! 😅. Thanks for sharing! This gives me new ideas on how to make AI work better for me!

You're welcome Jessica :)

Had no thought to create long prompts like this. I will try it out.

To be fair, there are pros and cons to this method, lol. One of the BIG cons is that ChatGPT might forget what you initally said, and then do whatever it wants (which can happen at times. To fix that though, you just need to re-paste your prompt, and that usually gets it back on track (for the most part).

Let me know how it turns out!

Excellent info Andy! I have prompts that extend well into the 1000 word category and am trying to streamline them!!

But after reading this, some of them are going to get even longer now!!

Much appreciated my friend! :-)

Not a problem Nick! Glad I can make your prompts, well, even longer, lol.

👍🤣🤣

Do you achieve these results with a free chatgpt account?

Prompt 1 and 3 can be run on the free version of ChatGPT, which I think is what we were using at the time (we were using the paid version, but running most everything on GPT 3.5, which is what the free version runs on).

I had a team of writers helping me, as well as a content manager to make sure things were running smoothly, but you should be able to do it by yourself, provided you get the right workflow going :)

will surely be trying that! thanks

Not a problem - Let me know if you need any help once you get things up and running :)

sure!

Not bat for a Anti AI person ;)

Great prompt engineering Andy! Congratulations and thank you for the big share!

Lol, Thanks Pedro. How big a share this is, is really dependent on the person who uses it - I bet ya that 90% of people who see this won't do anything with it. But that's free information for you.

I'm glad you'll be able to enjoy it though! Should get your creative juices going on how to use it :)

I have a WA-style author made for quite some time. Well, 2!

One for creating outlines, and another for writing those outlines based on search intent.

Before GPT4 I used the Webpilot plugin to browse the web with 3.5.

Anyway, great prompts!

Cheers
Pedro

PS: I will "at least" try your prompts ;)
