Writing new content has its days.

Since I have joined this wonderful community here at WA, my head was buzzing with all kinds of ideas that I can write about. All relevant (and hopefully useful) content. So I wrote them down as little heading with bullet points each one ready to be expanded. There are however, some days when it's worse than having just a simple 'writer's block'. It's coupled with your own 'internal editor/critic' as well. As I visit and read some of your websites. I can get discouraged because your articles seems to sound better as well as appropriate to its readers.

I take a break and come back to it again.

Still not there, I leave it for a few days and I eventually become enthusiastic once more - writing, planning, designing etc. All I am saying is that you cannot manufacture inspiration but maybe we can do something to double the output and speed up the 'lack of inspiration' period.

For now I am just going by whenever I feel it or have it, I go for it. Publish that article and edit afterwards. At least Google is informed that you're being active.

Please feel free to share your article/review writing experiences so I know that I am not the only one in this position. I might even get encouraged, feed off your energy and be my inspiration for the day.

Cheers & More traffic to you,

Drew

Hi Andrew - You are in good company.....

When James Joyce, the great Irish writer, appeared to be distressed about his lack of progress.A friend asked him...

"How many words did you get today?"

Joyce replied "Seven !!"

His friend then said "Seven? But James...that's good, at least for you!"

To which Joyce replied "Yes, I suppose it is,,,but I don't know what order they go in !!"

So take heart and give yourself the chance to shine...

Thank you for the encouragement. I know I'm in good company here. The support is just amazing.

Wish you success too.

Drew

I have terrible writing blocks where I will write out and trash articles for hours on end. so I am trying a different process. I have a small pad and pen I carry, constantly jotting down ideas as they come to me, the first few came as I lay in bed yesterday morning and a few more as I walked by the sea. It is only day 2 but the ideas are buliding so I am confident I can fill them out into full blown articles. watch this space

Just don't give up, i knew how it felt, and believe that you're not alone.

It's nice in a way to know I am not an isolated case :)
