Some years back I was building a promising affiliate marketing business then came Google Panda, and more. I was wiped out almost overnight, lost some page 1 rankings and my earnings dropped to 0, yes zilch. Couldn't recover became disilusioned and finally packed up.
Move on to 2015 and I now need to earn money having retired with very little pension and my financials are getting very tight.
I found Wealthy Affiliate advertised with some glowing recommendations so I am hoping I can get started once again. What I have found so far is an incredible community of people who have had varying degrees of success with WA and elsewhere but are all so generous with their offers of help.
In fact this whole program is supported by these amazing people who give up their own time to present many invaluable training modules and advice sessions.
So I never feel lost here as support is just a question away and although I may have passed the three score years and ten mark I intend making a living from the internet once again.

Using the WA keyword search facility I get the following results, searches 4,523, traffic 769, view results 89. this looks great to me but am I missing something and is there anything else I should check?
Secondly what is the significance of the searches and traffic numbers.

Hey Russell, if you have been able to achieve earnings in the past from good rankings then you have a real advantage. I was NEVER able to get near the first page of Google with a 10 foot pole until I found this place.

I believe the methods I used back then will not be as effective today and Google's draconion measures rendered my sites usless. So although I am aware of the principles involved I feel very much like a new starter. What I need to discover here is how to promote sites without "incurring the wrath" of Google and ensuring a regular supply of traffic. I made my money with AM so it is possible I will go back to some of the products I was promoting

One thing I have noticed with the training here is that every time Google releases a new animal from the zoo, we seem to benefit with better rankings.
