Twitter SCAM! - Stay well Away!

As everybody knows Twitter is an excellent way to keep up to date and be updated about recent affairs. It's also good to promote your own products and website. I started using Twitter (never was on it) purely to share and advertise my website.

I got impatient and gave in.

I subscribed to one of these get over 1000 k followers in a day sort of thing. and before I knew it, my followers increased from 6 to over 100 in a few minutes. So did my following. now I realized it had been doing it all by itself following and being followed automatically without any of my consent.

Now, I may have lots of 'followers' but no one really paying attention to what's being tweeted. This is definitely the classic case of 'quality over quantity'. I never want that to happen again.

The problem is...

I don't know how to undo what I did. So I resorted to deactivating my account and waiting for it to be deleted permanently. I will set up a new account after that.

So warning to all of you who may be tempted to get many followers quick. Don't be what I was; impatient and don't do what I did; signing in to what I knew was a SCAM (more-followers.net) <--- AVOID THIS!

Build up your following steadily the proper way.

The same goes for any other social media follow and shares.

Hope this has helped you. Cheers and good luck,

Drew

I'm afraid there's only one ugly way to undo that. Delete your profile/account and create a new one.

Oh, I didn't read carefully enough. So you already deleted your account?

Yup, 29 more days for my twitter link to be active again.

:(

I'm so sorry to hear you had that experience. I was always hesitant to give in to that. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure it's a learning experience that will never happen to you again. Blessings ~Betcha

I figured that was BS... it sounded like a recipe for spamming people. Sorry it went that way for you. -Alexx

I regret it. It definitely won't happen again.

Thanks for the info. I've gotten into things that I couldn't get out of and slow and steady is the way. Good advice.

There is something to be said about hard work and steady growth over an explosion but not long term success. Easy come, easy go.

Drew

If anybody how to undo what I did please let me know how.

Much Appreciated,
Drew
