Google Trust

So today I am discussing a relatively nebulous subject - Google Trust ranking. I am new to this online entrepreneur game and have been reading up a lot on this subject. It has been frustrating since there is a lot of opinion and basically zero hard evidence out there of how the Trust Ranking is calculated. There are many different camps out there as to how google factors trust, some even go so far as to say that the privacy settings on your site server make a difference. Anyone have thoughts, or better yet - experience, on which are the best items to focus on to increase Google Trust? I am busting my hump on content and comments, etc... I would prefer not to make my personal information public, but if it will help with trust ranking then I will do it...

Conversely, the WA "Trust" meter seems to be almost completely tied to website lifetime - I started two websites at the same time, one of them I did nothing with for two months and a website I worked my you-know-what off on for two months. The site I did nothing with (only 5 pages and 1 post) and the one I worked on (40 posts, 64 pages, 81 comments, setup with google adsense, etc...) have exactly the same WA trust estimate!

The WA Trust meter reflects the Google Trust ranking, and it is primarily a function of site age, and nothing more. Sad, but true.

Thanks, I appreciate the response! Seems quite simplistic based on what I have read elsewhere.
