Moving On Up
Well, many of you know what it is like to reach a milestone. I am happy to say that I have reached one as well.Thank you all at Wealthy Affiliate! I am gradually moving on up.I completed my second lesson, At first it felt like a high climb. Now I'm about to embark on the money lesson. To keep the momentum going, here a couple pieces of advice to my fellow newbies based from my own experiences so far:
Focus On One Thing At A Time
The shiny object syndome is common for many, especially newbies, but when you think of the goal you want to reach and the task in front of you, it makes your goal more reachable. With so many other obligations, it was hard for me to stay focused. I've learned to balance more, and now I'm seeing some progress of not getting too distracted.
Just 4 years ago, I was interested in online marketing and had been working on projects before stumbling accross WA. As I started to research it, I had a death in my family that shook me to my core. The book I started wasn't completed until after that shaking. I put WA on the back burner as I grieved. Now 4 years later and much prayer, I felt a creative nudge to begin my WA journey. Once I set my goal, I went all in.
When In Doubt, Repeat
This includes repeating areas of training you are unsure of such as listening to a video over and trying it again. Then ask questions when needed. Since I am a little shy, I prefer the above then I private message a trainer with a question rather than making it public. That is what works for me but you do what works for you, as long as you have an accountability partner.
There is still a long road ahead and high stairs to reach but because we have such a supportive WA community, I am now riding escalators instead.of just climbing stairs.
I hope this post helps someone. All the best to you all as you move on up. Here's to our success!
