The Importance of enabling the comment segment
As all of us know the comments is one of the important sections in our online business. The comments are good for the SEO and our website rank. Then receiving comments and replying to them is crucial.
I saw many pages that are very engaging but when I want to read the comments I see there isn't comment segment for that page.
Some web owners invite people to leave comments but they forget to enable the comment box segment.
I find it necessary to remember to you my friend how to enable the comment segment within any pages/posts.
- Go to your website's dashboard.
- Click on pages/posts
- Any pages/posts you want, just click Quick Edit.
- Tick the Allow Comments box.
Finished.
Now you enabled your comments segment and could interact with your audiences.

This is a wonderful suggestion, except there is a down side that people may not be aware of - a lot of web sites do not enable comments, because it is opening your site up to spam and abusive comments. I moderate a couple of web pages for a large site I write for periodically.
Having to go in and remove spam comments took up several hours, and I still have to monitor those pages constantly. The genuine comments from people who are on topic are terrific.
However, if I don't keep up with it the page rankings will go down - Google can actually penalize you for spam in your comments section with lower rankings.
If you are able to keep up with it, then having open comments is a wonderful way to get higher rankings. If someone is not able to keep up, then it is better to leave the comments turned off.
Yes, you are right. but when a person starts to work online they must consider the consequences.
There are many plugins or app to monitor the spam comments as well.

Ok, then here's a question. And I'm asking because I would genuinely like to have comments open on my sites, minus the drama. So I am open to learning about this.
How does the software/plugins weed out comments that start out sounding genuine, but manage to weave spam into the content of the comment without using any live links?
