Back with exciting news

I have been MIA in for a while. I needed a break from WA and a break from my website. I was pushing myself too hard that I was getting burnt out. (I also have 2 kids under 10 and a full-time job)

A couple of weeks ago I received reminder emails from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca that my 90 days were fast approaching and I needed to make a sale before they were up to keep my affiliate status.

I did nothing.

I figured I would just reapply and update all my links when the time came.

When I got home from work I checked my emails on my phone and noticed an affiliate email from Amazon. I figured those 90 days were up...instead it was a welcome letter...hmmm.....I had read about these on WA that you get one when you make your first sale.

With my heart pounding I quickly ran to my computer. It seemed to take forever for it to boot up. I logged into Amazon.com....no sales! I logged into Amazon.ca...1 sale :)

So I am here to tell everyone, you can still make your first sale even when you are not actively working on your website. Just imagine if I was working on it!

This has given me renewed motivation and confidence to keep plugging away at this!

I'll certainly be adding a new post to my site this weekend!
