My Initial Milestone as WA Member.
Joined since july, 29, 2013, I am very excited of what I am Learning at Wealthy Affiliate. The Training, Video Training and Softwares used to teach us Internet Marketing is Awaysome. My personel experience be becomming a Wealthy Affiliate Permium Member and services and training offered is uncomparable.
Though I had to 2 times delete the entire siterubix websites because of my own mistakes which was there in the training not to do but I still by mistakely did it and messed it up but third time I went for my own domain. The video training by Kyle helped me to connect my domain from namecheap.com and Wealthy Affiliate, Was very easy to follow the step by step instructions. Hence I was able to start building my website on my own domain.
I am not technically good person in computers but yet decided to join Wealthy Affiliate community. I followed the instructions and have completed level 2 training course today after 2 months of joining WA, But yet the website is pretty raw. I got few good feedback about my contents from WA members. I thank them without whome I would not have been happy. I know I am not a good writer yet they liked my contents. I Thank them a lot.
I should Thank Mikey.B. for his inspirational video " How bad do you want it ? Part 2" by ranksociety.com. I very much thank whlwealthy for his inspirational article about Thomas Edison which inspired me that he found 5000 ways that bulb cannot be made and after 10000 attempts he finally found the way out and today everyone remembers him. I also thank RICH for his help and Suggestions by chatting with me in WA Chat.
I Thank Carson And Kyle for building such a wonderful community where everybody can learn Internet Marketing without difficulty, I Uplaud you both. I know both of you are very busy but yet I would request you to kindly go through my website gemsgyan.com and give me suggestions. Be harsh but give me, for my comming future and I would not make the same mistakes next time.

Just checked out you blog. Left a comment. I actually learned something from your post on yellow sapphires. I did NOT know there were yellow ones. IF that is your first effort you are doing good. Way better than my first attempt.

I would suggest a "terms of service" page. Maybe a nicer theme. WP offers some really cool free themes. You might also monetize it with adsense. The "Quick Adsense" plugin is good and easy to set up.
If you don't have one get a good SEO plugin like WordPress SEO to help you with keyword usage and other stuff. You could also use a good video plugin like Wordpress Video Plugin. A YouTube video about yellow sapphires would help keep blog visitors engaged. Another plugin that helps you rank in search is "Google XML Sitemaps." by the way ...
ALL the plugins mentioned are free and can be accessed from your WP dashboard. Just click plugins, then at the very top left click "add new" and then you'll see a little search box top left where you can search for plugins.
I am currently remodeling one of my blogs but you can visit by clicking my name on the blog comment I left and get a rough idea what some plugins can do. I usually set up my blogs with a "static page" so I get better search placement for my keyword. You'll see when you get to my blog that I have a home page and a "blog" page. Anyway ... you have done EXCELLENT far better than my first blog. Keep up the great work!

Hi your website is coming along just fine. My suggestion is that for the niche you have chosen, you need a header with colour, Not necessarily bright but something. What do you think.?
Hi Annie, Thanks for your suggestion and I would deffinitely consider it. I too was thinking the same. And also I would like to give some special effects for my website like special Icon's etc but I do not know much. If you have more suggestions on my website and contents and appearance on my website I would be glad to Impliment it if it is feasible.

I know what you mean about learning how to do it all. It can be seem a bit difficult at times. I like colour - can't help myself :) Some themes have nice colour on them already. "Childishly simple" has a beautiful coloured header and it is a 2 column theme, like you already have. But it is up to you.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by icons. If you are talking about a picture/image in your sidebar/column, then this may be helpful -
