I can't move my site!
Hi all. I am having trouble moving my site from my site rubix site to my own domain. I currently have it registered with Go Daddy, but have started the process to transfer it to WA. I tried once already to have the hosting moved, but was denied because my site was locked with Go Daddy. When I tried to move my site during this transfer, I got this error: Hosting on this domain is not Enabled. You may not install a website on this domain at this time. To enable hosting for this domain, visit your domain page.
I just called Go Daddy and unlocked my site. I started the transfer process over again, I still get the same error when I try to move my site. I asked Go Daddy about it. But they said I had to contact Wealthy Affiliate. Help please!!!

You don't need to transfer the domain name. You just need to change the nameservers to point to WA to have your website hosted here. You can transfer the domain name later. WA Hosting - Setting Up Your Domain DNS
But it's already being transferred from being hosted at Go Daddy to being hosted here. I thought that was easier and cheaper. But I do need to move my site rubix site to my domain. This is what I'm not able to do. I get this error when I try: Hosting on this domain is not Enabled. You may not install a website on this domain at this time. To enable hosting for this domain, visit your domain page. I contacted Go Daddy about it already, and they told me to contact WA.
There's a big difference between moving the hosting and transferring the domain name Transfer a Domain Name, Move a Website If you still don't "get" it contact Site Support.
I know there is a difference. I am moving the hosting already. What I'm having problems with is moving my website from my site rubix site I started on the WA platform to the website I own.

A few days ago I moved my site to my domain and nothing happened tried again, same. Someone told me that it might take a little while so I waited. This morning.. nothing! so I tried again. I have moved my site once before and it changed right away, The site I want to move is 'topstores' to 'mlwebsitedomaim' (I know.. couldn't think of a better name at the time). Thank you M.
