I'm struggling with getting my site up and running with content and find everything so confusing!
I think your blog is all of your posts which form a blog roll on the first page of your site, unless you have chosen a specific static front page,
If you type "blog" into the question box there is a number of trainings which will appear, and which may be able to help you.
Hope that helps :)
I'm not sure if this would be an official explanation, but here is mine.
A blog is another name for your website. It communicates with an audience on a regular basis.
Your post is your communication. The post is how you talk and communicate with your audience. What you are communicating will change and so you will need to create a new post to place on your site.
I hope this helps.
Brilliant, thank you so much for the explanation. I get it now! The penny has dropped! Many thanks, Amanda

What is the difference between a blog and a post?

A post is an individual article. A blog is a collection of posts. Both can be used as verbs too.
