What is it to be spiritually enlighten at the Wealthy Affiliate?
Can we ever reach that level of spirituality? After all we are only humans. We are all with flaws and insecurities.
Or maybe we are perfect and refuse to admit it. To be spiritually enlightened is not something we can achieve by trying our best or really working hard at it. It comes to us like a beautiful sunset. We can't wish a gorgeous sunset into being. It just is.
Children know about being in the now. They don't work for it or try so hard, they just have fun, without the analysis and criticism from the self conscious. We as grownups, can't stop the mind from talking. It always has something to say, compare, or critic.
If we only quiet the mind and stay in the present moment, and just be, we will know who we are and arrive in that perfect sunset, that spiritual space we call enlightenment. The only thing is, can we stay in that place for long?
It is not easy but, once you taste it, we will remember it and always want to come back to that feeling of unity and peace. We just get caught up with life and back to the mind we go.
So what do we do? We need to remember who we are. Remind ourselves that how is more important than the what in the spiritual world. We are human beings and not human doings. We are on earth to express who we are. The doing is only a result of who we think we are. The understanding of who we are will keep us in longer moments of spiritual enlightenment.
We only need to know that the now is how. It is always now. The future is a mind construct and so is the past. To be, is to live in the now.

It's true that it's not easy to calm the mind if one is not used to it. Meditation and staying in the present helps a lot.
