Our First Blog Project
Hello @all,
we are really excited to present you our first blog project.
We are Anita and Oliver. I discovered Wealthy Affiliate 2,5 weeks ago and I'm still excited about everything I notice in this community. I've learned a lot about Online Marketing, Wordpress, eCommerce, SEO and SEA over the last 10 years, but never found a coherent guide on how to be successful online business wise by myself/entrepreneurial. We live in Germany, in Munich partly as in Cologne. The community of Online Marketers in Germany is small and I have the feeling no one wants to teach you something about the business. In my opinion, you can only grow together in this business.
At the moment, Oliver and I are in a great position for the experiment if we can work by our own in Affiliate Marketing. We want to figure out if it's working for us in the next 3 months.
We have a lot of ideas to get the business rolling. We really like to support the community with our knowledge and hope to find like-minded people here.
Our first Blog deals with funeral and burial. It's not an easy topic, but Oliver and I have lost 4 people in the last 2 years who were very close friends. Death is omnipresent and at some point everyone's time will run out. We want to inform and encourage people with our Blog to think about their life, expectations and to plan their time with each other meaningful.
What do you want to discover in your life?
How would you like to work with and how earning enough your money to pay this lifestyle?
Whom do you want to spend time with?
Who are your friends?
We want to live according to our own ideas. A 9 to 5 job does not belong to my imagination. We like to work hard, efficiently but meaningful. We want to travel, getting lot of experience, meet many different, special, enthusiastic people as developing ourselfes personally.
Time to get the business rolling.

Hey folks,
this is Oliver and thanks to all of you for your comments. After two weeks of studying, setting-up our website, key-word analysis, implementing plug-ins, analytics and social, requesting affiliates as ad-sense (still waiting after one week for confirmation) we are getting a bit frustrated about less traffic and not really getting forward. I know six blogs are not that much so far.
Second website with a different niche is under construction... may you share your experience how to move forward better?
As well as how the internal WA Rank works because we are now at 47191 and higher ranking motivates getting further with trainings. I've to emphasize that Anita is the key-diver and it's quite hard to stay on track for me because she has so much more experience.

Hi - unless I am missing something, it looks as though your first website post was only 5 days ago. This is very early days. Google views all new sites with suspicion for several months. Realistically, you won't see a great deal of traffic until you have at least 30 posts.
As regards your ranking, this is based on your level of activity in the WA community. It includes asking and answering questions, participating in Live Chat, writing blogs and training, welcoming new members etc. It has nothing to do with your website and there is nothing to be gained by ranking highly.
Hi Diane, thanks for your fast reply and sorry for the late response only we are still creating content for our next niche website to promote WA as well. I assume this works best in the beginning. This website will be more technically driven (WP, SEO, speed optimisation and AM) and hopefully excites more German creatives for this great WA community. We are very enthusiastic about learning more and to speed up our business model. Our goal for the next 30 days is one post per day, when we are at home (without vacation ;-)) Hopefully this will make us interesting enough for Google to rank.
What I didn't really understood is that you are missing something. What do you exactly mean? (Hi - unless I am missing something...)
Thank's as well for explaining the ranking procedure at WA, great to learn that the community spirit is key!
