How does one sell products on their site?
Hello all!
Hoping everyone is doing fantastic on this gorgeous day :)
Quick question: how can I have a store on my site? I would like to sell jewelry a friend of mine makes on my site. Where people can buy directly from my site. Does any one know how I could do that? I know I would need to install a shopping cart but I am not sure how to do the rest? A best option might be for him to set up a shop on Etsy but I want to see what I can do on my end.
thanks everyone!
Emily

Woo Commerce works well as I have just started to use this. :)
Indeed, a few days ago I was checking what the best plugin is for E-commerce in Wordpress and all the sites I checked recommended Woo Commerce as the best one...
I have installed it on a test site to check it, it looks great and everything you can imagine is there...
The only thing to check sometimes is if it does not decrease the performance of your site, but there are many solutions to solve that.
(maybe important when you start with woo commerce plugin --> check if your theme is a woocommerce friendly theme, examples: https://colorlib.com/wp/free-woocommerce-wordpress-themes/ )

Woocommerce all the way. Just make sure your site is compatible. If it isn't, then search under themes and type in Woocommerce. Very handy and super simple to figure out.
If you want to see it in action you can check out my g/f's website. It's in Thai but you'll get an idea of what it looks like.
