Hi Allan, as a startup, you have to be all, that is unless you have partners or the funds to employ staff. Cheers Kev

Good answer Kev. :-)

Thanks Allan. Cheers Kev

Hola Allan,

I happen to be all three and more. Not so much by choice but as my businesses grow certain demands are required of me. Whatever answers I apply are according to what I have time for, as well as whom I will outsource.

Okay...so a resourcefull Jack of all trades. Nice.

I think we can be more than 1 of these :)

1

I certainly agree...but if you had to pick one that best describes you, which might it be?

OK, as much as I dislike labels, if I had to, it would be a combination of business person and entrepreneur.

Okay...that's great to know. But don't worry I believe there's no label on earth which can limit someone with the creative juices like you have...I see your energy and passion for what you do here at WA, and that can't be capped - if anything, a label just might focus and strengthen your gift. Much respect...and thank you for responding.

Hi Allan,
I'd like to think of myself as a businesswoman and entrepreneur, although I'm new to both aspects of these fields. I'm encouraged daily to become strong in both. Thank you for your insight. Have a great day!

Sounds like this got you thinking a little...did it? PS You have already become even stronger by identifying which you are. Thanks for the comment Mary.

Hi, Allan. Any way we can be all 3? Though, being a salesman does not seem appealing, unless you are hawking your own product. Then, being a salesman would be awesome, because you would be introducing your own features of the product. It would be tough to say which of the three because you would need the qualities of all three to be successful.

3

I do agree, Allan, salespeople have a bad reputation, but there are some good gems in sales.

Thanks, SayWA, you gave a very insightful answer. And your reply reminded me of a book I read many years ago and it is time for me to re-read it:

Og Mandino's book: The Greatest Salesman in the World.

Good observation - that all three are important to success.

I believe there is a salesman within all of us just wanting to get out. Thanks for your response.
