​Did I meet my August Goals? Drum Roll Please...

I know some of you have been on the edge of your seats waiting for these results... Oh, wait. That was just me! :)

So here we go!

AUGUST GOALS:

1. More Traffic to my site: - Almost check!

• July Stats: • August stats:
  
  • Total visitors: 100 - 228
  • Unique visitors: 61 - 79
  • % of new visitors: 43.57% - 34.6%
  • Pages/sessions: 5.51 - 5.85
  • Average session duration: 7:41 - 8:31
  • Bounce rate: 33.57% - 42.98%
• August Goals:
  • Total visitors: 250

  ***Almost! Came in at 228!***

  • I would like to point out that my page views are 1,334! I think that is an awesome thing! It means people are looking around! :)

2. More social media followers - Check!

• July stats: • August stats:
  • Facebook: 4 likes - 5 likes
  • Twitter: 6 followers - 121 followers!
  • Google +: 17 followers, 280 views - 44 followers, 1,365 views
  • Pinterest: 1 follower - 3 followers
• August Goals:
  • Increase followers in all social media.

  
  

  ***Goal Reached! Woot! Woot!****

3. Rank in Google... anywhere. :) - Check!

**** Goal reached! I have two keywords ranking #7 in Google! (Hey, it's a start.)****

4. Have a total of 50 pages and posts on my site. (Right now I have 34.) - Check!

Including:

• 2 new book reviews - Added 1
• 2 new recommendations - Added 0
• 4 new author biographies - Added 4
• 4 new book release pages - Added 2

****Goal Reached! I now have 52 pages and posts on my website!****

5. Have at least one sale with Adsense or Affiliate Marketing links.

****Sadly, no sales yet... :( ****

6. Complete Course 5. - Check!

7. Research my competitors, and start commenting on a few different sites. - Kinda Check!

****I started this process, but haven't gone as deep as I need to yet.****

8. Create a "freebie" for my site that visitors can print out. - FAIL!

9. Make new friends at WA! -CHECK!

So, all in all not too bad! Pretty darn good actually! I am pretty proud of what I have accomplished in one month's time! :)

Thank you WA community for all of the support! I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

You guys are the best!!

I'll figure out and post some September goals soon! Stay tuned! :)
