The Value of Asking Questions Here in WA

One of the dynamic platforms within Wealthy Affiliate is the questions platform, It is a way to tap into that collective mind of folks that are on the same journey as us. I like to think of it as;

Our personal mastermind group on tap.

The thing about WA is that there is so much information available to us, over and above the training.

• In the form of individual training
  
• Individual questions posed by other members.
  
• Individual blog posts on a whole raft of topics.
  

It never ceases to amaze me just how wide and deep the pool of knowledge is.

There are three ways to tap into that extra knowledge;

By asking a question in the search bar of your WA home page.

Sometimes we have to play around with the keywords we use, to extract the information that we require or are looking for. A rule of thumb could be if first we don't succeed then just change how you are expressing your question. it can be something that takes a little while to figure out, especially if you are not exactly sure what you are looking for.

The second way is to enter live chat;

and ask your question there, the thing about WA is that the platform runs 24/7 so somewhere in the world folks are getting up to face a brand new day of opportunity.

The third way is to ask a question of the community,

Which can take a longer time to bring in the answers or solutions but it opens up your question to the whole community, a world wide community covering all the times zones of the world.

You are effectively tapping into that WA mastermind.

One of the really dynamic and positive things about WA is that it is in a continual state of development and improvement and this can be evidenced by the new additions that are being continually added.

Kyle and Carson are always hard at work developing new and improved systems we have the easy job of turning up and taking advantage of their creations.

Just a little WA History;
At an earlier time when folks asked a question, and someone answered it would be removed from the content conversation and threads, back in the day it was the cause of much angst because at times folks would answer with a no answer comment, the outcome was that the question got knocked out even if it did or didn't have an answer.

As you could imagine it could be at times very frustrating for both folks asking and for folks answering questions. There was some debate, and at times that was quite heated as you would well imagine.

Enter the new and dynamic Wealthy Affiliate platform.

" New look new everything ".

Now when questions are asked they stay in the dashboard feeds for an extended period and they can gather momentum as more inputs from the community are added.

It is such a powerful resource, something from observation, that is lacking in a lot of " WA wanta be platforms ". One would have to describe it as very visionary on the part of Kyle and Carson to introduce the expanded question platform.

To a degree, it celebrates the diversity of both culture, knowledge and the fact that WA is truly a global organization of like minded folks all striving to expand their possibilities, in a very inclusive environment.

The thing that amazes me is that everything one has something to offer, even if you are only starting out, or you are well down the road it is those little gems of knowledge and experiences that we can share with each other to help us find our way, when we are just struggling to sort things out in our heads.

No matter where you find yourself there are times when that little bit of input can be so beneficial.

It is always said in business, that the extra or different set of eyes can make all the difference at the end of the day.

Creating new recipes, by adding a few extra ingredients.

Magnifying the core values of Wealthy Affiliate.

That " pay it forward " tradition, which is what in my books makes WA what it is today.

The way it is set up now questions appear in our dashboard feeds, both as individual questions and in that group of unanswered questions that link into comment threads and the various classrooms

So they get maximum exposure, which in turn get maximum answers and solutions.

Almost forgot the other vector, which is by email if someone in your network asks a question we receive a notification......... that is if we have that aspect of our email feed turned on.

When I think about it, getting involved in the question threads is such a good way to both share and develop knowledge, it is also such a great way to develop those networking skills and develop professional relationships.

The real value of questions is that it develops our collective knowledge which in turn develops our ability to grow to our online footprints.

From every angle, the question platform here in WA is a win-win-win, in my books.

So next time you are stuck or troubled with an aspect of your journey, and you search and can't find the answer, ask away because in doing so you are " paying it forward " and helping us all to grow.
