A Dealy Wheely Really Day

Really,

It would be good to create a deal a day to help keep the doctor at bay or is it away, as we know life and business does not always roll that way.

Somedays can feel like the bottom of the ninth, 2 out last batter up siting on strike two all the bases loaded, and everything sitting on that last pitch being wacked out of the park to get some runners home to save the day.

You know the feeling.

If the batter hits that ball all good, if he misses game over.we all go home empty-handed.

Today was one of those days when I just needed things to go tickety-boo, I had read that some members were having some issue with their site rubix websites, but for someone that sometimes doesn't like weather forecasts preferring to make up my own it was business as usual for me.

Not so,

It appears that Google is having some growing pains again, and for some reason best known to them they have taken a dislike to our great mate, Site Rubix.

The only saving grace is that they have taken a dislike to their own sites as well.

Well that's wheely good, like if there was a phone number or an office across town like you would be tempted to drive on over, come on dude's lets keep it tidy.

Side Projects the spice of life.

I have been tinkering around with a side project on a site rubix site, and the opportunity presented to make a presentation using the concept that I had been working away on.

Started the day steering at the red screen of death, tried everything I could think of to make it go away, it only affected the chrome browser thank goodness that is not the only fruit in the internet browser bowel.

Turns out and I should have guessed that WA is right on top of it there was a post with a response from Carson that it had something to do with AIO SEO, and an issue was creating just a false positive, which triggered something in Googles algorithm and that they were getting it reviewed, so it will work itself through.

Turns out if you are using Chrome and you go to the three little dots, top right hand corner ot your screen.

- Select settings,

- Select advanced

- Turn off safe browsing.

- Turn off help improve safe browsing.

Problem worked around.

The sun was shining again so off I go to show the folks, I am sure that they would order up a site, based on the demo.

Well you can imagine my surprise when I logged into the site using the WP-admin login page for the Site Rubix demo site, on one of their machines.

Only to be faced with the Red screen of death.

Note to self always back your self 150%, read above.

Just keep talking and keep the show on track, problem solved disaster averted.

Its turning out to be a, Dealy wheely really day after all.

I really enjoy having Site Rubix as part of the WA suites, it can provide so many opportunities to try things our and get creative.

One of the recommendations around theses parts is to create an asset using your own domain you own it, and that is that.

With that in mind I thought that I would do just that with a domain sitting at Go Daddy, ( one that is not supported here in WA).

Pointed the domain at the hosting here in WA, drove home, I would say no more than 45 minutes, logged into WA and it is there all good to go.

What can you say, the resources and processes here in WA are so robust, for sure things may not always go smoothly but one thing for sure, Kyle and Carson and the team that support this platform, will move mountains to keep everything moving along and moving forward.

In my mind that defines WA and really gives us that point of difference, all we have to do is turn up and make the most of the opportunity.

Sitting here late arvo feeling pretty stoked, definetly signing on for another year or two or three of four.

Happy birthday to us all.

Hi Alex,

I'm sorry for the delayed response to this post. This post goes to show that you have a wonderful, positive attitude. (Granted, I think I already knew that but this is proof.)

I remember lots of people venting there frustration around that time period. So, I chose to focus on other things completely.

It sounds like you stayed amazingly cool under pressure. Hopefully you are getting lots more wheely great days that do not require anything extraordinary on your behalf.

Carson and the team are on it. What a great place to be!
Keep on wheelin', Alex!
C & P

Hi C and P

Definitely going to keep on wheeling and dealing that is where some extra funds can be found hiding under a rock.

I just found it ironic when searching that Google had flagged its self as a deceptive site, totally bizarre and goes to show that they don't get things right as I think Carson mentioned.

It is so good to be involved in such a dynamic and progressive platform, all we have to do is turn up using the resources and make some coin.

Thank you for dropping by,

Much appreciated.

Alex

Hi Alex,

Although, SiteRubix is great for some people as part of their domain (.com) just looks better.

I knew I would buy my own as soon as I knew I could.

Now I am very happy about the decision to do so.

All the best,

Diane

Hi Diane,

Definitely, agree with you .com rules the roost and has done for a long time. there is a myth that all the good .coms are taken.

Untrue urban legend only.

using the resources inside WA especially Jaxxy we can do some really good mining.

You will be pleased that you got a domain name that you sync with.

Best wishes how are the training and implementation going.

Alex.

It's been a while since I have used siterubix to set up one-page websites to use as landing pages. Now, I use my own domain to create landing pages as needed.

Hi, Glen good to see you, how is your journey going, that would work very well, do you go the subdomain route.

Busy as all get out. Consequently, I don't spend as much time here as I used to do.

I use subdomains once in a while. For me, it is easier to set up landing pages and then test them from my main domain.

Hi Glen, I thought that may be the case busy wise that is when the floodgates start opening we just need to go with the flow.

That is a good way to go you are into click funnels for those landing pages, thank you for dropping by.

Alex
