High Five Anyone?
Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a fab evening/day - yay it's nearly Friday again!
Just a quick one from me..... I wrote a post on my website a few weeks ago and it wasn't indexed until just over a week ago. It hasn't been showing up in the rankings anywhere but tonight it is on Page 1, position 4! I'm so made up!
Although it's only on Yahoo and not even showing anywhere on Bing or Google - in fact most of my posts are ranked on Yahoo or Bing (or both) but none of them on Google - should I be worried? Maybe Google doesn't like me? Why not? I've never done anything to upset them? It's enough to give you a complex!
I think that's the hardest part of this whole process - Google playing with your emotions! It's worse than being in a relationship with a man!! (No offence guys! Girls ssshhhh, you know what I'm saying!)
Final word - you would have been proud of me today, my meeting was delayed by an hour so I sat in the train station getting my research sorted for my next post which I wrote when I got home this evening. 2 posts published on my website in 24 hours! I know some of you wonderful people do that on a daily basis but YAY! I'm happy with that.

Huge hugs to everyone - I've missed you all over the past couple of days - been away in wet and windy Wales for work.

Hi Alex, The thing about Yahoo and Bing is that people do use those search engines and they do visit and they do buy.
Google will sit up and take note, They can be a little slow to catch on like most guys.

Unfortunately yes, if it was Mrs or Ms Goggle, it would be way more understanding,accepting and inclusive.
Well done Alex. It's not easy juggling current job with future one, but great focus!
I think if you keep checking your posts are Google-friendly they do get ranked eventually. It's a much bigger market than bing.

Rankings on Yahoo and Bing show that you are doing the right things. Google will show you some love soon too.
Getting 2 posts written in 24 hours is a great effort.
Getting work done in a train station is commendable.
Getting anything done in Wales is admirable! (kidding)

Ha! Wales... it’s only my second ever time going there. They talk funny so I stay away!! 🤣🤣 only joking... oh God I’m offending all sorts of people tonight 🤐🤭.
I find that when my mind is bogged down with worries and stresses I just need to sit down and do something productive on my website and it acts like therapy. It’s something that is all mine and everything I put on it comes out of my head.... my personal thing and nobody else’s. I love it.
Lol. I took my daughter to Cardiff uni open day a few years ago and I had no idea what many people were saying to me.
In fairness I am sure they thought the same about me when I spoke in my Northern Irish accent!
I agree about the website - getting something done feels like a personal achievement - an investment in your own future!

Hey... I have my issues with Google, too. Sitting in front of the computer waiting for your articles to show up, asking yourself why is not nice at all...
Hang in there, we all have to. There is a lot of men in the world but only one Mr Google ;)
