Written Goals - Never Done This Before!

Last Update: July 29, 2018

Encouraged by many of you lovely WA friends, I take heed of your advice, and today start recording my WA blogging journey.

This series of blogs will be about my daily progress in writing out the content for my Bootcamp site, and I'll be sharing useful info and tools.

Thanks for the idea, since I've constantly felt stuck at what to write.

Comparing myself to the fabulously successful WA members didn't help. So, I've decided to quit comparing myself to anyone, and just go for it!

As my very first singing teacher pointed out to me - everyone has their own journey, in their own time, and towards their own goal.

I found that hugely helpful when listening to other opera singers do their magic.

Appreciating the greatness in those who are better than us, is a great inspiration, and a great motivator too.

I've been a WA member since March 2018; so some five months to date.

In that time I've created one niche site, had some small success with it, but realizing I couldn't bear writing about mommy stuff, and be a full time mom, something had to give.

Since I love my twins too much, it is my mom blog that had to go on hold for the now. ;)

I'm slowly figuring out what to do with it in the near future.

Bootcamp Time!

I'm doing the Bootcamp training.

I'm now going through level 4.

Really enjoying it.

I just love learning new stuff. Being a perpetual student (and being paid for it) would be one of my perfect occupations. Still, being an opera singer and an affiliate marketeer is not too shabby either ;).

I am preparing my Bootcamp website. It's not launched as yet. I am aiming to write around 40-50 articles, ready for publishing before the website goes live.

15 already written! Yaaay!

What I've struggled with the most, with my first website is being consistent in publishing new content, and everything related to the blog suffered as a result.

Not. This. Time. :)

What's the Plan?

So now, the plan is:

  • To continue writing a 1000 words (or more) per day
  • Have 50 posts ready until the end of August
  • The website ready for launch first week of September
  • Continue creating content 4x per week (as of September)
  • Work on my Pinterest Account, Fb, Twitter and Google+ for traffic
  • Continue doing the Bootcamp training
  • Create my first YouTube video (and then some!)
  • Write my daily WA blog
  • Pray to God/Universe (quite a bit!) I can do all this ;)

Thanks for reading!

What are your goals for the next couple of months?

Have a great day/night wherever you are!

Best,

Alenka

I wish you much success, looks as though you are going to be very busy. Envy you singing had to pack up when my power went after a baby stroke. Did produce Leslie Garrett a few years ago, she did ask me to duet, but I had to refuse due to my lack of power now.

Thank you, Stuart! I'm very sorry you had to give up singing.
Wow, you produced some of Leslie Garrett arias? Amazing! I used to study with the same singing teacher as her at one point.
Hope your time here at WA is going smoothly and best of luck with your training and sites!
Best,
Alenka

Amazing post! I recently wrote an article on "4 Tips On Planning Your Day Effectively." It's very important for me to plan and make goals for myself, if not, my thoughts will be all over the place and I will soon lack motivation to do anything. But when I plan, everything is smooth sailing.

Hello! Thanks so much for your comment. Ah, you are so right. When one plans in advance, everything does go more smoothly. My problem is that I look after two toddlers full time at home, so planning, not being something that is closely associated with toddler twins, often goes out of the window! heheheh. So, I work when I can, which is mainly late in the evening.
Good luck with your business!
Best,
Alenka
