Our new "yard pet"
It got here by itself, or we just don't know how it got here,
I saw it from my window walking slowly on our back yard, we noticed whatever we put in the compost vanished right away!
We knew our neighbour's yellow cat used to visit us often and eat from the compost, it was ok for us, no problem to share the compost with it,
But since this gray and white cat is here, we haven't seen the yellow cat around.
Hard to think about a cat in our back yard with cooler weather, now we know it'd found a good place to sleep and spend most of the day when the weather is not nice here.
It's getting more used to us everyday, it knows now when its breakfast and dinner time, it eats all!
Well, after two weeks of good food, it looks in better shape!

One day when the rain poured heavily and the road was filled with rain water a small black and white kitty took shed under the car. As if he was taken along by the water that flowed the road. I asked around the neighbors if they own it but no one claimed.
Now he is already a cat with sweet characteristics. We call him "batik" meaning a combination of black and white colors. He is happily with us until this day.
I'm happy to read your story about Batik, I love its name!

We are happy to have it here, let's see how close it get to us, but for the moment it has food and a "cat bed"
