Can anyone help me with IRS Form W-8 I'm in the UK, I'm not sure what Foreign Tax Identification Number is, is it NI no.?
Yes, your national insurance number would be your foreign tax number. I did the same thing when living in Canada entering my SiN in that part of the form. If you have any doubts at all, call a tax hotline and ask.

It would be the unique number associated with your income tax. In Australia it's call Tax File Number or FTN.
Thanks for your reply. I found out it can be either your Nat Ins no. or Unique Tax no. the UK doesn't issue actually Foreign Tax Identification Numbers.

I have 2 WA accounts, one from ages ago that I thought was gone, and I just rejoined the other day.
