sigh . lost all hope
soooooo .. I'm losing hope in any success at all. I've hit a point where I really don't understand why I'm not getting anyone clicking my links or purchasing a product. I realize I am not nearly far enough along to make my long term goals, but I'm coming up on a month, if not already past a month, and I've seen no positive progress, not even 5 cents .... I was hoping one day this would be something that could be my main income, where I'd have more time for family and cleaning and cooking and truly enjoying life, and each day that dreams falls further and further away. What am I doing wrong? Do I need more affiliate site posts? I feel like all I'm doing is putting money in, and getting none back. And now I'm informed if I spend MORE money to a Jaaxy upgrade that I will be making money by the boat load. Well, that's what I was told when I put my money into a premium account, and I'm exactly where I started still ...

It's taken me 4 or so months to start getting anything, and now thins are starting to pick up for me. Going through the training and having patience is the key. Then eventually one day, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. When I create content for my website, I try to stay in a certain frame of mind. Millions of people are on at any given time, and a large portion of them are looking to solve a problem they have. With that said, keep their needs in mind and create your content around that.
Many newbies start out from the mindset (and I'm not saying this is you) of "I want to make money asap! Click on my affiliate link so I can get paid!" when they should be asking "How can I help you?" When people see that you're genuinely trying to make their lives better instead of being it in for the money, they'll come flocking to you. Then, you'll get the success you want and deserve. :)
This is SO TRUE!! If you think about it, this has gotten to be the mindset of people working in any kind of store I go to. Everyone is out for the almighty dollar. I understand...times are tough, and we've all got bills to pay, but I'm a firm believer of getting what you put into the world. Concentrating on the needs of others is very sound advice. It will all come back to you in the end. (Note: Just expanding on this comment...This isn't directed at anyone in particular. I hope someone gets something positive out of this.) Good luck, eveyone! Alanna, I am here just a little over a month and I haven't made anything yet either but, I don't expect to at this point. I knew going into this that it will take time and hard work but I do know, through trying different things off and on over the years that if and when I do succeed, it will be because of the training and the helpful community here at WA. Keep going. Like Kyle said, if he would have quit 1 day before making his first sale, he would have failed. Look at where he is today! oh, and by the way, I would love the password to that video :)
There is a saying from the Bible that goes something like this.... Except a seed falls to the ground and dies, it bears no fruit.... I have learned over the years never to give up or give in. And, it has made my life so GOOD it is impossible to explain.
Simply put, no former plants seed and gives up before harvest. I am attaching a little poorly drawn diagram that shows the steps to harvest. Talk to me about it.... Best to you, BDF
Don't beat up yourself I to have been here a little over a month and have actually been denied by affiliates because of lack of content I am waiting now even for hopefully an acceptance to an affiliate after each time adding more content. Just continue writing and adding content it will bring the following you want in time I know the frustration as I to wonder when will the money come. hope this will boost you thoughts and get you back to enjoying this and not getting sad, stay positive it will work.

You haven't even been a member for a full month yet. Kyle said it took him 6 months to make his first sale online if I remember correctly. I think it's rare to make a sale under 3 months of working on it. While a business pays off very well, it's painful in the beginning because you put so much work into it for a long time without seeing results you want. Most people will say to give it a year before giving up to try something new. I took a course before on entrepreneurship and found out that many businesses actually do take at least one year to either break even or make a profit.
Hi Alanna. You have to realize that affiliate marketing is going to take time, and even though it seems like you've given it your all for a month, you have to keep going. Very rarely does anyone start seeing traffic, let alone link clicks and profits at this point. It is still way too soon and you have to keep writing content.
I don't think you're where you started, or else you would not have a website up. :) It takes patience for this to work and you have to persevere and not give up. Keep writing quality content and watch your traffic slowly grow. It will happen, but it takes time and more work. Keep going, don't stop now!
