What Is MOST Important?

Sorry, gang. As you may or may not have noticed, I have not been around WA lately.
I have been dealing with a family emergency that virtually turned our world upside down. Without going into details, suffice it to say the event involved a trip to the hospital emergency room, lots of doctors, LOTS of prayer, and basically put everyone's life on hold.
It was a mess. I have been a physical, emotional, and spiritual wreck for weeks, as has my wife.
I am back, however, and I wanted to use that experience and take a moment to remind you why you are here.
What's In It For You?
I imagine that you came to Wealthy Affiliate seeking a better life. Perhaps you're looking for more money, a business instead of a job, and the ability to travel the world. And those are all excellent goals.
But here's the thing...
As nice as all of that sounds, none of it matters if you lose what's important. If you get so caught up with making and keeping Ambassador, or creating content, or building the latest funnel, or X..., or Y.... or even Z... Well, you get the point. That stuff is just not important. Not really.
We absolutely must focus on what IS important. For me, it's family.
I'm doing pretty good, sometimes making as much as $500 - $1000 in a single day. Sure, it's not Donald Trump or Bill Gates money, but it ain't bad. By most standards, it's a nice living. But if earning that requires me to ignore my family and work 20 hours a day, I shouldn't do it. And you shouldn't either.
Don't let this business, WA, your rank, or anything else come between you and what you treasure the most. You can always create more content. You can always make more money. Heck, you can even always achieve higher rank -- I should know, I've made Ambassador several times now. lol
The point is that "stuff" can always be acheived again and again with a bit of elbow grease. But the people you care about most won't be around forever (and neither will you), so make sure you make time for them, too.
Like I said, your number one goal should be to keep the main thing the main thing.
Take care, and love one another.
AJ
P.S. By the way, I'm certainly not saying that your "thing" should be family; although for many of you it will be. All I'm saying is find what's most important in your life and never lose sight of that. In the end, everything else is just minutiae.
I hope things are better for you now.
Lovely to have you back.
Lily 😊
Well done on your success. I have been at this for 5 months and having received a dime.
