Hi Attila - I've used a few.

Captivate (now by Adobe, used to be Macromedia) - is packed with features, and helps create training and exam/test type screencasts - expensive!

Ashampoo Snap (now v7) - is ok - you can add text, highlights etc after you've taken a screenshot - but as soon as you've done a screen capture movie -that's it - you can't add captions etc - not very expensive - ~$20

Screencast-o-matic - allows you to create caption files, add narration/audio after you've recorded your video etc - ~$15

Screencast-o-matic is what I've used for my last two videos - and I rate it much better than the other two I've used. It's screen capture captures the screen perfectly - and the ability to edit it afterwards, add audio, zoom in, add captions etc - is where I see the benefit.

Good start! Love the enthusiasm. Keep going!! I've also tried CamStudio - I believe it was free for screen capture app. It works for me also.
