Fixed Chicken - Wednesday Twacky Humor
OK , I know you will claim that this is some click bait title to make you read this silly post of mines and to buy me some sympathy here at WA.
Actually it is not, it is as real as the title says.
I will present the sum and substance of my post which is based on an actual DOJ investigation:
The U.S. Justice Department is launching a criminal investigation some country's biggest poultry producers — including Tyson Foods, Pilgrim’s Pride and Sanderson Farms — over allegations they conspired to fix prices. The Justice Department says it's pursuing a probe similar to civil complaints by consumers, distributors, supermarkets and food companies. They have alleged that the chicken companies have since 2008 colluded to reduce the supply of broiler chickens and manipulate prices on a weekly benchmark.

I know it hurts most of us who just love 'em chickens (sorry vegans some of us are this way) and imagine what the chicken production Mafia was up to while we were lining up patiently at KFC, Bojangles, Popeye's, Louisiana Chicken, Church's Fried Chicken, Cane's, Chick Fil A, Ranch 1 and one of my favorites Zaxby's. Just to name a few, Please add your own favorites in the omments if you care to.
Where is the humor in that?
Perhaps a bit of dark [meat] humor in it, you would think that those entrusted with providing healthy and fair markets for our food would not be fixing the chicken but prepping it.

Whether you like the chicken, or the chicken conspiracy may be a moot issue for you in the end as the conspiracy is limited to the US, so you are safe there in the UK with the Royal British Naval Observatory For Applied Fowl Science Academy running a tight ship and helping the fish and chips Mafia racket by restricting all chicken consumption.
