Community Help!
Hello!
I am reaching out in hopes of getting my creative juices flowing with help from the community!
Aside from this, I have a business doing balloon arrangements of allllll kinds. I am hoping to take a break from the actual business side of things for a bit to work on more of the online side of things, but am finding myself at a block. I know there is SO much potential here for what I want to do, I am just having trouble getting it off the ground.
My main ideas are to make a blog reel, mainly targeted at other balloon artists, about tips and tricks for balloon making, and have links to the products I use as my affiliate links. I am also hoping to come out with a line of DIY balloon arrangment kits that my customers can purchase, and have walk thrus of how to put them together.
Does anyone have anymore helpful suggestions as to how I can smoothly transition into doing this? Or how I can make it all come together in a manner that doesn't make it look as jumbled as I am seeing it in my head? I have a website on Shopify, so I am looking for a creative way to tie it all together. When I put thought into it, I get overwhelmed and over anxious, and end up telling myself to step away, which causes procrastination.
What would you like to know about balloons? Any suggestions of how to tie this all together in an attractive, profitable way? Google is pulling up very little on information on any relative information (which is confirming my thoughts that this could be a very lucrative niche if I can execute it properly.
Thanks SO much in advance for all your insight!

Hi Adrienne… Excellent starting points from Dan.
In addition:
Have you written down what you want to achieve with your balloon business?
What does your ideal customer look like? (If there are a few types of customer then describe them all).
What problems do your ideal customers face?
What questions would your ideal customers ask you?

It always helps to have a target market in mind for your business. You can always expand. Do you make balloon arrangements for children’s parties or events. Possibly for retirement events or graduations. Your “niche” is your business; you help people who need what your business does solve a problem. Once you can define the parameters of your business, it becomes easy to do keyword research and discover how people will find you online. Maybe this helps a little.
Also have you started or gone through any of the training. This is always a great way to get you going in the right direction.
Best of luck
Dan
Searched for balloons, there are loads of great ideas, from animal balloons to ballons in ballons. Is that even a thing?
If you like balloons, what about balloons at weddings. How do you blow up a balloon? What a fun niche. I would do it. If I knew about balloons, but I am all hot air!
Inhaling balloons can also be life-threatening.
To kill the mood. Oh well...
You have also given me an idea for one of my coaching niches, fears and phobias... yes, fear of balloons! It's a big deal! Yet I have never had a client for it!
Good Luck!
