The Power of Gratitude
Hello beautiful friends.
It has been a while since I wrote a blog and I am happy to be here again.
BYW, the photo on this blog. is a photo I took last weekend at my favorite park in Tokyo (Shinjuku Park). It's autumn season now in Japan. One of the most beautiful season of the year.
Today I would like to share my thoughts about a very important thing that has been my anchor and helped me be grounded whenever my thoughts start to drift toward the negative; which is Gratitude. The other thing is Love
Gratitude is like an elixir that costs nothing and requires very little effort and would make you happier, healthier, more optimistic and more productive, .
I start my day by practicing gratitude and it makes me feel good.
Gratitude attracts what we want.
We know that according to the universal law of attraction we will attract into our life the things we think about and we focus on. This is even more appropriate for things we are thankful for.
When we are intentionally aware of our blessings, and are grateful for them, we are focusing more clearly on what we want in your life and therefore attracting more of those things into our lives.
Gratitude improves relationships.
We know that saying "thank you" is "good manners" we learned from our parents in our childhoods. This manner is very powerful.
We feel good when we are most appreciated and it’s the same when we show our gratitude to other people for their contributions, their talents and their actions - and make sure we let them know how we feel.
Gratitude reduces negativity.
It is hard to be negative when we feel gratitude about any situation and think about things for which you we thankful for. One of the fastest ways to get out of depression is to count our blessings.
Gratitude improves problem solving skills.
When we have a problem we focus on the barriers on the way at we put our effort to fix it, but when we think about what we are grateful for we open our minds to new possibilities and connections We also tackle the problem with a perspective of improvement and opportunity rather than the challenge or the issue.
Gratitude helps us learn.
Being grateful for our situation even if we don’t like it allows us to be thankful for the opportunity to learn something new.
So now you may be thinking how can I be more often gratefull
It's really very easy.
Here are some ideas
1. Make a list of your blessings.
These things can be big things like your family, your job, your health or little think like when someone held the door open for you this morning. You can do it mentally but it is better if you write them down
2. Read your list and allow yourself to feel good about everything you wrote down.
3. If there is a person in your list you can thank or show your appreciation to, do that now
Love and Bliss

Love your Picture of the gardens in Japan Awesome
"The Attitude of Gratitude" is the one thing that is everything
Just make the time to say I am grateful for.......Daily, really sets the tone for an overall better life experience.
I have seen the Power of Attitude do both
Either make it better or Make it worse
That truly is a power that only you can harvest
Have a great weekend brother
Cheers from Canada

Thank you Dino
I hope one day you will have the chance to visit Shinjuku Park.
It's so beautiful especially in Autumn and Spring time. It's right in the middle of Tokyo near the busiest area.
A heaven of peace.
Have a great rest of the week my friend

Outstanding image Adel, in our busy lives we can forget to stop and give thanks for the many blessings that we have.
In doing so we tend to gravitate to and become what we think and feel.
Thank you for sharing your insights.

Thank you. Gratitude and love are the magic potion. You’re so right. I would absolutely love to visit the park. It’s gorgeous!
Yes, very true -- we attract what we think about. Thinking grateful thoughts for all we have been given is so positive and helpful. I agree with you completely on what you have to say in this post. Well done! Wish I'd thought of it first...lol...keep up the good work.

Years ago I extremely down and out. So down that I was homeless and had no family, no support, nothing but a backpack. Would you believe I.was grateful for finding enough cans to buy a pack of cheap cigarettes and the pizza I found in the trash? Its true. Now I have a house, cars, a wife and great son and haven't been down and out in 30 years since my mid 20's. I could die tomorrow and be happy with how my life was. Peace
Thank you David for sharing your story.
I am so happy you pulled yourself out and you are are now living the beautiful happy life you deserve
Not many people could say they lived when they die.
You are one of the luckiest few in this world
I went thought a very hard time too.
I was not homeless
I had a very serious condition that could have killed me.
I couldn't work for over two years.
I was living on my saving by myself in a foreign country, fighting to stay alive and that changed my life.
Actually I see what I went through as a blessing. Now I am grateful for everything and I see every new day as a new blessing.
I also I can sayI lived if I die tomorrow
I wish you all the best for the future my friend.
Have a great weekend
Love and Bliss to you and to your family
