Yes, I've used Yoast before too, I think they all work pretty similar... I guess, what I'm asking is the extra time spent on all this optimization on-page worth it with all the changes in Google and their ranking algorithm's?

As I said on your other question, All-in-one SEO works for a big majority of people here, but you are free to use the one you want. Try both of them and you will see which one works the best for you.
