Feeling rather proud of ourselves.1 month in
Hey WA family,
We just wanted to share our thoughts as we hit 1 month being part of the WA family... where has that time gone?
We are seriously enjoying it! We honestly expected the road to be a bit more bumpy than this but so far it has been nothing but enjoyable (and hard work of course), but having come from never having even looked in to blogging, website building, affiliate marketing to now understanding key terms and actually feeling like we are starting to get the hang of it we don't think we are doing too badly.
Don't get us wrong, we know there is still a very long way to go, and we are very much aware that we need to get the traffic, ranking and the money coming in for this to be a business but we feel we are making the right steps and are focusing on the right things at this stage thanks to the guidance available.
With Emma having just finished maternity leave and heading straight in to lockdown, and Adam being out of work due to lockdown this really was the perfect timing. They say things happen when you are ready and the time is right. We have felt so motivated to get up early, stay up late, find the extra hours wherever we can to follow the training and do the work required.
If 1 month ago you would have told us that we would be 20 posts and 26,500 words in, have a business pinterest set up and be associated to affiliate programs and networks we would never have believed you. But with thanks to the incredible training on offer and the most amazing community in all of you we have achieved that.
Here's to the future!

it has been great knowing that you are going through it too!
How are you getting on?
Really pleased to know that you are enjoying it too
Thank you .... to our success :)
I am at "writing the first review" lesson in training. And have been there for more than a week. It is due to doing quite a bit of work reading up on SEO and digital trends lately, which takes away time for producing content. But it has been very rewarding building knowledge on those 2 factors. I see the trend towards esports and videogaming which could be very rewarding in the affiliate marketing context.
As life has started getting back to normal again, I have had to revisit my time schedule and goals to adjust when I work with what.

We are finding that as we get stuck in to it more we are delving in to other areas and learning so much, it is amazing isn't it.
What is your niche?
Life returning to normal is definitely something that we all have to adjust to again isn't it, we had got quite used to our new norm, but have also had to revisit timings, goals and expectations
The niche at the moment is "dogs and dog equipment". A bit broad niche, but people are interested in their pet's well-being. We have an extremely cute dog our selves. She is 6 years old and has turned our lives completely around after she moved in with us. I use our experiences with her as the "core" of my niche
I have a couple of more niches up my sleeve at the moment and have already bought domains for both niches. I am just waiting to work on those until the one I already have is up and running with revenue "trickling" in 😊

Thanks Ferra for the support, just got to keep going :) We hope things are going well for you?
I am still a newbie myself, so yes, we just need to keep on going :)
It's been such a learning curve but I am enjoying it so far.
Cheers,
Ferra
It sure is a learning curve, but if we can enjoy it that really is half the battle.
I look forward to continuing to connect with you and watching out for your success
