good day and welcome to all the new members here at WA. I know that times we don't always get to all of you but we are trying.
Anyway I just wanted to give you guys a little advice. Don't worry if you can't get affiliate programs right away.
Once your site is up and running, maybe if you have 15-20 posts like I have and your Google master tool and Google analytics are up and running, then only will you get affiliate programs.
I am only telling you this from my experiences throughout the past month.
You might ask will I have to wait that long? And honestly that depends one you, I have a niche in wildlife, so for me it took a little longer.
Why? Well I didn't know exactly what it was I wanted to put on my site as far as sales go.
Now I'm proud to say I found four. So don't push yourself too hard, concentrate on training. Yes a lot of the time it's told how to put affiliate links on your site, but honestly you can always do that later.
I'm not saying that you should skip steps in your training cause that is a huge no-no but don't stress too much about the small stuff.
If anyone ever needs my help finding programs please give me a holler and I will be happy to help you.
And again welcome to WA I definitely know that you will love it here, not to mention all the lovely helpful people we have here on WA.

We will actually accept affiliates at Awin.com and ShareASale.com affiliate networks with far fewer than 15 posts. I've seen them accepted with just a handful, so don't be afraid to apply even earlier!

Awin.com and ShareASale.com are a bit more welcoming of newbies. We have made the decision that we want to grow together from the start.
Thank you for pointing that out Jeannine! With an attitude like that Awin & ShareASale will make it far and definitely will get a lot of loyalty from newbies. I will definitely strongly consider them above some of the other well-known ones.
Oh, and may I add that it was an excellent strategic decision from them to dedicate YOU to this platform - I always enjoy and learn from your comments - thank you!

Thanks Chocolate IceCream! We do indeed have a lot of very loyal affiliates for both ShareASale and Awin.com - that's just one of the reasons why Awin is the largest affiliate network in the world, and The Awin Group is the biggest in the US.
