I cannot open a custom link on my website, not sure what I missed but it seems quite straightforward, would appreciate some ideas on how to correct this. Thx
Trying to link to a subject on another site and have the link show up in my sites menu, at the moment just getting the red circle with a slash through it
You are still not being very clear.
You say Custom Link
Where did you get it or where did you create it?
Then why are you calling it a Custom Link?
If you have a URL from another site then its simple to put that link within your site.
If you want to have the link within an article then you have the article in Edit Mode.
You highlight a relevant piece of text.
You click on the Paperclip icon in the little menu.
A box appears directly underneath the highlighted text.
You insert the link.
You click on the little Cog Wheel to the right of the box.
Next Page.
Make sure your link is in the box and the little Open In New Tab box is ticked.
Click on Add Link
Your highlighted text will have turned blue.
Click on Preview and test the link and if it takes you to where its supposed to then job done.

just logged on and went to siterubix to access my website but there is no log in button, is there a prob with the site or is it something I need to redo. thx for any insite on
thanks for the link, but it does not show the logon button, so I am wondering if there is something else going on
that is right, logged into site manager but no login button, was working ok last night when I logged of, any ideas on how to fix would be appreciated

Thank you for the wonderful information and directions on how to choose and change my categories, you have given me some very important pointers that I will have to play with to fully understand there significance, again thank you, Doug
In order to get rid of the uncatorgized tab you will need to define your categories. Right now your site only has the one category group so all posts are automatically going there
Go to Posts - Categories than create new categories. you will have to go through your old posts to reset the categories

Have filled out those sections and saved to menu, but cannot open it in my website
