Being Overwhelmed

Let's do some vocabulary learning today.

The word overwhelm is defined, bury or drown beneath a huge mass; defeat completely; give too much of a thing to someone.

When we started learning here at Wealthy Affiliate, one of the four emphases is stated like this: Anything NEW can appear to be overwhelming at first.

Applying the definitions above, how do we feel.

Are we buried or beneath a huge mass?

Or, are we defeated?

Or, we entered at Wealthy Affiliate and feel we can amass millions of money by having a website?

But after all we have counted months, counted the amount we have invested and yet we have not seen the income coming.

These we ask ourselves as we pose for introspection:

1) do I have the right perspective? When our sight is too focused on the immediate monetary expectations rather than on the business we are building defeat comes.

I come to my senses that I have to make a business and my business is not for this time only but it should be for a long time.

2) do I have the niche? At first, I was thinking of something that would cover wider world and bigger populace so that more people will support it. But in online marketing I learned the contradictory.

Focusing in a smaller group makes it better and easier to be caught by the seekers, researchers, and product consumers.

3) do I have the passion? If you love online business you have to put your passion into it. Put content by writing and writing and writing for after all that will make a website living.

If your passion to your website dies you might have been overwhelmed. And when that comes your website dies naturally and your dreams will eventually fade away.
