If you are finding it difficult to set up the DNS setting, this might help. I just completed mine.

1) Log into your namecheap account

2) click on Domain list on the left

3) look for the domain name you want to redirect

4) Click on manage on the right

5) Scroll down till you are almost at the bottom. Look for other domain setting

6) Look for nameservers, third from the top.

7) Click on edit

8) On the next page it says server type look for custom, it's the last one on the list

9) The next window is Nameservers

10) There will be 4 blank spaces and now type in ns1..... and ns2.... as mentioned in the VT

Hope this is helpful. :-)

Hi Dunbar! Its all changed a bit. When you click on manage on the right, Nameservers windows will appear on the left. look for Namecheap default. Use the filter arrow and select custom. It's the last one in the list. Now type in ns1.... and ns2...
check the save button and that is done.

You can always ask for support if in doubt. Hope this help you out :-)

sorry I must be such a dummy, got the namecheap default but didn't see the filter arrow, please help, thanks for taking the time to show me, I really appreciate it, cheers Helen

Hi, recently transferred another website to WA and noticed the interface has changed again. So this is a bit outdated :-)
I think its been made simpler. Same principle though :-)

Still helped a lot! I was a bit confused with the 2014 video, so your post really helped. Thanks again :)

Hi Abs,
Did you have issue with entering an email address? I guess my real question is once we setup a domain at namecheap, does an email get associated with that website?

this might help you understand the process.

Thanks Katie, that is great! Would that have been covered later in the course?
