Good Morning.
I just wrote a 3 thousand word post and many sentences have 25-40 words. I tried to cut it back, but each sentence is a powerful statement that seems diluted i

As long as you give your post justice and that you covered your topic well

You do not have to comply with a plugin. You an also use East Table of Contents here.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-table-of-contents/

Write as many words as needed to satisfy your searchers needs. Don’t worry about writing for SEO machines — just answer the question without fluff that your searches are looking for. Typically that could be between 800 to 1200 (but deeper scientific type of response may go a lot more).

Don’t be tied too much to a certain word count!

SEO 1998-2019 - Write to satisfy machines/software, don't worry about the humans.

SEO 2019 onwards - Write to satisfy humans, the machines/softwares simply provide tips (and often not very good ones)

Here's my take on it in a WA blog post

Thanks for the response. I'm gonna ask for your opinion on said post, now. Warning: You must be at least 19 years of age.

You need to have a meeting with the prince of content as we call Partha. lol No such thing as too many words. ignore the plugins if you have them on your site. Certain plugins will notify you and say you have too many words and not enough sub-headings like minds told me yesterday.

No such thing as too many as long as you have quality content in your post/article. I've heard of 15,000 word posts before. No worries.

Hi - you can use a plug-in.

There is one called Age Gate that looks as though it will allow you to put it on individual posts rather than the whole site.

Thanks Diane,
I gotta do that.
