A lifetime ago, I used DreamWeaver to create websites, along with some html and css hand coding. It now takes me less than half a day using WordPress. It's an easy learning curve and worthwhile.

unfortunately Alan, this platform only has hosting for wordpress....
you may be able to export your work as html and add it to a html block....
or talk to support they may be able to set something up - i know in the past (way back in the past ) others were able to create sites in html ....
but it really is frowned on now...
so good luck if you manage it...
wordpress block editor is not that bad as long as you don't mind a dumbed down designing experience and writing content more...
