Success And Significance
Live Like It Matters
People define success in many different ways.
To most people it means the accumulation of material possessions.
A lot of "successful" people are unhealthy, ignorant, unhappy, and spend all their time working.
To me that is not a life of success at all.
If you really want a successful life, you should strive to obtain knowledge, health, financial success, and a balnced life.
Then you can use this success to lift up others and impact the world around you to make a difference, if you want to live a life of significance.
You don't have to have all these things to lead a life of significance but if you do, you will be able to impact the lives of many more people.
Health, wealth and financial success alone can be enjoyable and make you happy temporarily but it will not be truely fulfilling.
The only way to lead a life of fulfilllment and find true happiness is to lead a life of significance, a life that leaves the world a better place than you found.

Great words Aaron and very true. As we grow our desires and pleasures change greatly. What pleased me in my 30's is totally changed over the years, I'm 69 now. My body has changed, my vision, my physical capabilities, totally different now. Maybe significant to some, but a few. WA makes us feel much more significant.

Success should not be defined by material possessions or more money than you can spend.
True, a balance is needed, and for me a successful life would be one where I am financially stable, healthy, happy and knowing I have done my best to help others when ever possible and have made the world a better place.

Just finished draining the pool for the evening my friend, a bit of 80's music on the jukebox, and contemplating that last glass of wine before hitting the sack at nearly 3am here!!

Live your life with an attitude of gratitude and you will start to have an abundance of life. When you lead your life with the idea that you have also helped someone else, in need, then you have also helped someone else begin to live a life of gratitude. What could be more beneficial to all.
