Perfectionism vs Realism plus Idealism Needed Enthusiasm
Revisions revisions revisions
Perfectionist
I think I have a Blog post with more than 100 revisions; OMG...what is going on?
Idealist
Wanting to be a perfectionist, but not perfect in the slightest; wanting to present good work and humbly realizing that while I'd been away from WA, a site had cropped up that has new and improved content and overlaps a great deal.
Realist
Started researching my niche in a fact finding mission. It would have been helpful to do this before I got started, as I came across a glorious website that basically does exactly what I had been attempting to start, but is the most professional website I've ever seen and absolutely loaded with great information. It was a humbling moment.
So the Realist said to me, "Time to stop and reflect a bit before proceeding, might need to redirect once again, or narrow things down".
Pessimist
Had to fire her; she lived between my ears and wasn't very nice.
Enthusiast
Needed one, so hired a new one to sit between my ears. She reminded me that I've written more than 22,000 words in a month.
No time is wasted in becoming a better blogger and exacting editor.
So she spoke up again and said, "When the right niche has been narrowed down, you will be ready to rock and roll!"
Think I'll keep her on the Payroll.

That's what I did as a small retailer competing with Wal-Mart was found the products they didn't handle and make up the rest of the room with excellent service.
Well said and with this mindset, you will be awesome now
Letting go of negative "crap" is a great way to get positive things happening for you so well done and keep on growing and being awesome

Ouch, if you spend too much time on perfection you will lose time for production and end up with more failure than success. People are not perfect, we aren't designed that way. There was only one person ever who was perfect and we nailed him to a cross and bled him to death.
