About 3three3

Life has been a tremendously unpredictable roller-coaster thus far. Whether my time on the music stage or my time in medical isolation, the nights @ the bar or the years behind bars, the jobs I loved or the bosses I hated, the cars I've crashed or the homes I've created, the women in my life or the men I've buried, lost friends, found enemies, failed careers & successful parties, vacations abroad or local community events; All have made me what I am, & there is very little I would change. For even if no movie is made about it, the experiences & memories I have of this life would fill a theater full of thrill seekers, party-goers & probably a few forensic psychiatrists.
I now enter a new chapter in life as a middle-aged man making a new start with a Zero bank balance & an inordinate amount of time. Building computers has cost me. Playing Bass has cost me. Enjoying life to the fullest has really cost me. Now it's time to see it there's any way to turn passion into profit? Perhaps this Internet thingy will prove as exciting & educational as this life of mine has thus far. Perhaps it may even pay the bills...
Just a guy looking for a new adventure,

Thanks for the response. I agree that success is a tough nut to crack. I think focusing on really getting the information to your reader will be a win for the author also. If we can solve their problem we will be rewarded eventually. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Thanks for the follow and many blessings on all your efforts. I think your sites are very good and was wondering if you may have a few tips on success for the WA?

Thus far, luck (ie: Success) has not been my lady. However, I remain optimistic. The coin I am am about to refer to is multifaceted:
on one side of this coin, I suggest focusing on something you know & enjoy & would be pleased to concentrate the hours upon hours required to present a worthwhile product to the folks you wish to engage &/or enlighten;
on the other side, I suggest focusing on something that the masses like, even though it may not be your favorite choice, as this will maximize potential audience & consequentially earnings potential;
& on yet another side of this peculiarly deformed coin, I suggest not listening to Me all that much, as I have yet to generate any substantial income via this endeavor. Rather, keep your eyes & ears out for the folks that have been here for a while. They have much to offer.
While my own lady luck has remained elusive, the occasional glimpse I am able to steal is still rather alluring. I have come to realize that what I care about deeply may not coincide with the desires or interests of the masses. In fact, there does appear to be a distinct correlation in the opposite direction. That being said, you need to find something you enjoy & many others find interesting or compelling, as well. Once you have established that you can branch out into more "my-Interest" focused endeavors. But let's face it, until the bills are being covered by our activities here, it is a labor of love, lust or loss.
You have found a good resource for input, sounding boards, advice, etc. W.A. has certainly proven to be as such for myself. Though it may crescendo slower or faster than others, persistence does seem to be the essential ingredient. Good luck, & keep us posted on your success, as we ALL love hearing about more W.A. good news.

My 1st Article was a bit of a bust. So it seems my living will be made in other ways unless I refine my skills in that arena. I'm trying to find my groove as it seems self-promotion doesn't come as naturally story-telling. Thanks for the "comment" & good luck 2 u here & abroad.

Thanks for the follow. Everything in life costs you something at some time and in some way. The pay back is that you get to experience the dawns and sunsets.

Thanks to you for your words. And to you I wish a great start to your future, as well. Regarding Jim Rhon: A seemingly overpuffed inspirationalist, for YOUR words mean so much more to me than his ever could. However, I appreciate your good meaning & graciously accept your kind thoughts. I look forward to following your success in the future & hope our paths are both colored by fruition & fortune here @ WA & abroad. Good Health to You & Yours.

Interesting profile, although I wonder about the men you've buried -- is that literal?

But regardless, I had followed over to your place here on WA after reading a considerate comment on another person's post.

I hope you are doing well and getting to some point you had wanted to when you came to join WA. Best!

And Thank YOU as well for the follow. I have quite literally buried several men (&women;). Though the cause of death on some was still to be determined, suffice it to say, it was not @ my hands. I was rather referring to the friends & family that have found untimely deaths due to overindulgence &/or misfortune. While it is hard to bury a grandparent or elderly loved one, it is exponentially difficult to say goodbye to youthful tragic lives. The one positive take-away is that I now take not for granted any single day on this blue rock, nor one moment with those I care about, nor any moments of solitude. Heck, I'm even thankful for the days I hate... '-) Good Health to You & Yours.

Yes experience and a few years tend to make you appreciate the days (the hours) more.

Over here they say we live "on a black rock" -- and when they use the term "blue rock" over here it means it is extremely hard to the point you might have to blast it if you need to excavate!

The home we live in now was supposed to have a sunken living room. They found out they had built the area to be dug down on blue rock -- so it turned out to be just a level living room!

Wow what an amazing profile, I was intrigued by each line that you had written, I can can definitely see the poet in you.
Well I know for sure if you dedicate time and effort and absorb everything here at WA and learn from successful people you'll be able to pay your bills and more. My goal is to fire my boss soon. I wish u the greatest success and if u need any advice just let me know. We are all in this together and that is to help each other succeed :)

Although I've never fancied myself a poet, by any stretch of the imagination, I thank you for Your kind words and look forward to more in the future. I hope that this newest endeavor we've both undertaken, separately yet together, grants us each/both the abilities to pursue whatever it is that brings happiness to our lives & security to our loved ones (&/or Versa/Visa).
Thus far, the folks here have been mostly thoughtful & positive in pointing me in the right direction(s) & not simply “blowing sunshine” nether-where & such. It seems you & I may have found a rather helpful group to lean on as we grow in knowledge & confidence, improving our on-line prowess & savvy.
Long & short of it: You used words that I use All The Time, to the extent as to nearly be my Mantra: “We're all in this together.” I could not agree more, & find it so tremendously gratifying to hear someone of your obvious intellect & beauty pointing the phrase in my direction. Please excuse my long-windedness as I tend to find difficult truncating my thoughts.
If, in any way, I could be of assistance to you, or any other readers of this post, know that this man of limited means is of inexhaustible good intent & will do all I can to assist however & whenever possible. Feel free to gimme a shout, a PM, poke, prod or whatever else you can to get my attention, ask away, tell away, whatever it is you want/need/ desire to say/ask/other. ;-) <--are-these-emote-things-still-ok-too-use?<--Haha! Hope your last days @ Uni prove pleasant & productive & your boss is working for you soon. Good Luck with that, as well.
