I opened my email the other day and saw this email. I clicked on the attachment and saw that is was asking too much personal information. I sent the letter to PayPal and reported it as a scam. Be careful Folks....I almost fell for it!

Dear PayPal account holder PayPal is constantly working to ensure security by regularly screening the accounts in our system. We have recently determined that different computers have tried logging into your PayPal account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. Until we can collect secure information, your access to sensitive account features will be limited. We would like to restore your access as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Download and fill out the form to resolve the problem and then log into your account.

Dear Rob xxxxxx

Thank you for contacting PayPal Customer Support. My name is Sxxxx and I am happy to assist you.

We understand receiving a fake email can be a cause for concern, and we urge you to always contact us if you have any questions about your PayPal account.

As of March 17, 2016, all emails from PayPal to U.S. accountholders will be sent from a PayPal email address with the domain mail.paypal.com.

Thanks Rob,good to know. It is a bit unnerving to think people are trying to break your passwords! Thanks for commenting!

Thanks for the heads up!

You are welcome Jon, and thanks for taking the time to comment!

People nowadays would always go for the quick buck, even deceiving others to get that. It's sad.

I was almost fooled into believing my account was in jeopardy! They have a link set up to forward these to paypal.
This particular email even included a paypal lookalike logo on the attachment!! Crooks are getting very sophisticated nowadays! Thanks for taking the time to comment Pearl.
