Socializing
Happy Sunday everyone....
Yesterday I wrote about being in a community and how
I was going to enjoy it. Nothings changed but I have to
tell you I'm spending more time reading what everyone is
talking about and what they are doing than I am getting into
the lessons.
So, I'm going to have to outline a schedule for myself
starting with opening up my e-mails first thing in the morning.
That's what I have done for a long time before this and now....
I'm getting stuck in the e-mails sifting through them, what to keep
and what to delete. I'm getting e-mails with new material and
links that put me ahead of my self and are distracting. I'm
afraid of deleting something that I'm going to need and it won't be
easily found again because I disregarded it.
This is where organization comes in and that isn't one of my
better qualities. I'm working on it, so, for the time being I'd like
to say "HI" and "Thank You" to those of you that have introduced
yourselves to me in a follow and hope to connect one on one eventually!
Have a peaceful Sunday,
Diane

Thank you Ronny, it's good to know it's not only me. Sit down at this laptop and think i'm going to spend just a few minutes and all of a sudden an hour is gone. That's just fooling around. Bad habit!!
I am going to offer you an idea of doing the email thing a bit differently...I am speaking for what I know to be true for me...
The email is my biggest enemy...For some reason i always find something that get me distracted...Some times it would take me down a rabbit hole that killed the 1st part of my day..So now what I do is:
1st) I don't open emails till I have done my assigned task for the day...
2ed) I got rid of all emails that I did not need... so anything related to Internet Marketing I no longer receive...So even from friends and family i don't need to see them till I am tired of working...
it worked for me...I just found 1st thing to kill my peek performance hours...but there many ways to skin a cat...oops just got a menacing look from my 2 felines friends...strike that....skin a goat...
Oh my gosh, I just had to leave you another comment, lol. I have been doing what you have been doing too!
For the last couple of days I have been reading tons(though I love to read), trying to organize stuff, and writing myself an outline of a schedule every day and I save most of the emails from WA too!
I wandered off from the lessons too unintentionally but am getting back into them today.
You are not alone with the organization subject. Some of my disorganization has caused me frustration and wasted time lately.
It might help to keep a notebook of subjects you are learning, make a schedule or list of what you want to do that day(even if it is only 2 things)make a certain time each day to read/reply to emails, a certain amount of time to work on your website(s), certain amount of time to make comments/reply to comments, certain amount of time you want to do your writing, etc etc. I am just throwing those ideas out there.
Thanks for your post though. It helps to read what others go through.
Have a great week :)
