Broke the Barrier!

Just a quick note, am taking a Netflix break...
The barrier I broke is the ranking...I'm under 100, at 96!

I never gave it much thought about ratings, and viewed them as a popularity gimmick. Yet, as my raking rises, I know it is because of my participation here, the answering of questions, provided solutions, and share insightful programs or lessons I've learned in my online journey the past ten plus years...and sometimes, those same things remind me, too.

Im similar to you Rudy. I set myself the goal of being in the top 5000 & find like you I am just in the top 100 now for a few days so far.
I suspect Im a bit like my old home town "just in" the Premier League. Or just in the top of Division 2. I will be cool staying here or being "relegated" a bit.
The important thing is that we are improving & developing personally & our sites are growing. Im not "ready" to be an "Ambassador" until my sites are earning regular income as they will. Then with experience I will be able to offer more advice. Im far from an expert with only 10 months under my belt here at WA.
I find reading a set number of WA mails a day & commenting on some has helped me so much with my site. e.g. there was a great training mail I saw today on QSR.

I want to share something with you that I was told in the beginning of my martial art career.
I was only a purple belt, and my Sensei asked me to assist the instructor. I reminded him that I was only a purple belt, what could I possibly teach someone else?
He told me that a new person walking through the door knows nothing about karate. As a purple belt, I certainly knew the basic stuff, and was more than capable to teach karate to a new person.
Trevor, you have plenty of knowledge to help someone who has been where you have been, remember, you were once a beginner, too. There is no 'criteria' to be an ambassador...the more you participate on the boards here, determines your ranking, not whether your site has made any income...
