Look I can't afford the cost per month Can I postpone/pause my membership until next year
there is no pause for the account...you are effectively paying for hosting...
after you cancel your account, as soon as the payment period ends your site will come offline...
make sure you backup any sites you have as they are saved for 60 days, after that there is no guarantee that there will be backups available...
use one of the backup plugins to backup your sites...
when you are ready to come back just sign in again and you will be requested to continue with your payment and can restore your account and sites....
it is a shame as there maybe a black friday deal coming up for annual membership....

Black Friday annual for this years taking place after Thanksgiving US, however we await Kyle to let us know what would be the offer details. There's obviously great savings when you go annual and the price will not be subject to an increase in the following years as long as you remain subscribed to the platform.
However totally your call here.

Account settings is pretty much the universal go-to for cancelling any subscription online and it's no different here at WA.
Go to your profile>Account Settings>Subscriptions, scroll down and delete your account.
