Choose a niche - check
Find out that Wordpress doesn't work like it says it's suppose tp work. Try to fing a way to fix it. Change themes. Change themes again. Find out that when you enhance your site for SEO it didn't enhance. Find out that Google analytics isn't as intuitive as it use to be. Did they use hieroglyphics when they changed it. Download pluging that's supposed to fix it. It's not fixed. Think about resuming training where I left off. Resume trying to get wordpress to do what I want. How do I get the site SEO enhanced. When will I have time to actually start to learn about SEO? Think about the webinars I wanted to watch. When will I finally be able to write content, When will I search for and affiliate with the right affiiate networks for my niche. Find out about a bunch of new tooks somebody posted about. Aren't tools supposed to make things easier. How did they ever build houses before power tools were invented? Feel like every step I take I step in quicksand and have to pull each leg out before I take another step into more quicksand. Pull out my Glock 40. Do I shoot myself or my computer? Drink several beers and a few shots of whiskey.

I can write, I can research keywords. I know what material I want to put on my site. It's just a matter of digging out the material and rewriting the recipes the way I would make them. But what if my website isn't properly SEO enhanced? I still might get few or no visitors. How would I even know if I can't find it on Google analytics or even Monster Insights. I don't mind doing the work. I'm anxious to get started doing the actually nuts and bolts of everyday content addition.
I didn't expect all this to be easy. Nothing worthwhile ever is. But sheesh! Gimme a break will ya.

Take a moment rest, and like Mr Miyagi in the "Karate Kid " says: breath in ,breath out (do this a few times) then make notes/list of what is not working ,then reorder that list (put the most important one first and so on) .
Look for solutions ,one at the time (with help from others if needed , don't move on till you solved the previous one.
Last but not least, each time you tackled an issue, give yourself a thumbs up, you deserved it.
Obstacles are only obstacles if you see them that way, turn it into opportunities you can learn from.

When all else fail, take a break, turn on your tv, tune in to youtube and search for primitive skills or primitive survival skills and forget all about WA! These primitive videos on youtube are hilarious and some very creative!
I have learned how to make ancient concrete, extract iron from rocks, trap fish and birds and when I go back to the Rock In The Pacific I will spend several months doing what I have learned from these videos!
