Hammock Day
Relax
July 22nd is national hammock day. It is a day to relax and reflect.
It comes from the word Hamacas. in the taino language. These amazing people came from the middle and south Americas. Some of the first hammocks were made from bark. Not the dog, the tree. Lol.
Swinging in the air while sleeping is VEEEEERY relaxing. I hope you took time out today to smell the roses and relax.
Hammocking today is a social activity. Suspended between Mountainous peaks or slowly unwinding in your backyard. We all need it. Hammocking can be a fun way to spend time with those you love.
No message, no analogy. Just hope you relax now and again.
Peace and Love

Zoopie , happy Hammock day , some of my decendant were the Arawaks and Caribs who the Carribbean was name after , at the time Christopher Columbus , so call discover the Carribbean ,
Bad history teaching
The Arawak and the Caribs were living in the Americas at the time
The Arawak was a set of peaceful Indian who invented the Hammock
So the history is real
Thanks for the memories
Nice one Zoopie
The truth is that I have never climbed in a hammock, seeing your picture makes me want to. I hope someday I can swing in one. Thank you very much Stephen!
I learned something new again, Stephen! If I ever managed to get into one of those things, I would never be able to get out!😳🙄
