This year has already clocked over 1 month and we should be up and firing.
Are your blogs up to date, does your website look good and work well.
And are you writing up a storm and posting to social media.
Is your on-site SEO squared away and are you monitoring your blogs.
Because sure as my name ain’t Dorothy those who wish to be successful this year will be doing it.
Things you Need to do
Set Clear Goals
- Which audience or segment do you want to reach?
- What kind of affiliates will you work with (bloggers, influencers, social media stars)?
- How much revenue do you expect to earn from affiliate marketing?
- How much can you afford to spend on commissions?
- How will you preserve your brand reputation (sharing brand guidelines, etc)?
Analyze your competition
Know your enemy. lol. Welll know your competition at least. Remember the “Art of War“ by Sun Zu.
Know your Affiliate Relationship
- What action triggers the payout of a commission? (sale, generated lead, impression, etc.)
- How are affiliates paid? (Is there a set reward, or a percentage-based commission?)
- Are affiliates paid in cash, credits, vouchers, or something else?
- How high is the commission rate, on average, for each brand?
- How does the company recruit affiliates? (through a landing page or marketplace?)
- How difficult is it for people to apply to become an affiliate?
- What are the terms and conditions of the affiliate program?
- What training and support does each brand provide?
- What kind of resources do the companies give to their affiliates? (blog templates, banners, etc.)
Make your own Marketing Material
Creating additional material for yourself can However, creating additional collateral for your teams can be extremely beneficial.
.The resources you make can be bespoke to your website with logo and links.
- Ready-made blog posts and reviews ( Use the AI tools here)
- Email templates
- Banners for their website
- Marketing resources for new products and announcements
- Brand guidelines and editorials.
Use Social Media
Dont just post your blogs. Interact with other Affiliate groups. There are a lot of people out there unhappy whom they are with, Affiliate wise.
Go into Facebook Groups and join some get. Whether it’s Affiliate marketing or your niche.
Dont forget the likes of Quora and LinkedIn.
Know where your market goes, and follow.
Track and Optimize
Finally, with any marketing or business growth strategy, you should always be looking for ways to optimize and improve.
And that’s it baby, go out and have fun.

Yes, I’m going “ full-on” this year. There is so much stuff that is happening. YouTube has started going well. A recent post from a new website hit 2,000 views and in climbing about 400 a day.
And Pinterest, I have a few from a couple of weeks posted, getting over 1,000 views and the some I’ve 5,000 in 2 weeks.
So I will keep push
