Learning through trial and error

I've been an amazon Affiliate since 2010 and didn't know what I was doing, so now I'm ready to make some money. However wordpress is so complicated I can tell it will take me a minute to put put products on my site. People have different versions of wordpress I'm learning. Unless you've been doing this for years, or have a natural talent, you are going to have quite a learning curve. Thats ok with me, I'm with a wonderful community, and I will keep watching Kyle's tutorials and checking off his list. I understand you can't just have a headphone site up and running in a week, unless you really know what you are doing. So I'll take my time and keep my day job until that blessed day where I can quit my job and become a real business owner and wonderful producer. So if anybody out there is getting impatient, calm down and meditate, because the time will come.

Thanks for reading,

Kendall

No there's only 1 version of WordPress, you should always have the latest version. But there are different themes (or templates). I have a integrated Amazon Shop with products of my niche and also product banners and I didn't have any difficulties to install. Take the time to read every instruction slowly and repeat if you don't understand. It's really easy to install in WordPress.

I will look up the amazon shop and theres still a part of the plugin that asks for theses aws codes and there are so many ways to put products on your site, just looking for the right way. Is the amazon shop a plugin?

No, you create the shop in your Amazon Partner Program and integrate than the code to a page of your website.

WP is a strange thing- both easier and more difficult than you can imagine...but you are in the right place- enjoy...

Good post and inspirational too, Thanks

I sure am getting inpatient. I'm just finding out much extra money I need to spend to do some extra things. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should keep trying or not.
