Hi you all, I ran over the Pinterest traffic increase machine a lot lately. I am actually very focused on getting this tool ready for me.

I was wondering if there are people within Wealthy Affiliate that also want to use the opportunities Pinterest offers and want to establish a share and follow community here.

If you are not already involved and practicing on Pinterest, I would like you to watch this video. It is #1 of a series free to see on youtube and I think it is something we should not miss out.

Follow me on Pintrest: https://www.pinterest.com/zapp...

As I said I already started my Board today and made my first pin.

If you are interested, please let me know and we can bring this baby up together.

We can follow each other and share followers and learn from each other how to do it the best way. I am not a pro with Pinterest but I think I will be in future.

Check the video and let me know who is in

See you, Stefan

Hi, could someone with some experience on Pinterest quickly check my account and feedback how this looks after two days?
Am I on the right track? Should I change something?
Rich pins are not there yet.
Thank's very much, a great day to you all.

I looked at your boards and pins...
interesting and informative.

Hi, thank's, I know it needs a lot of more work to put into. I think I'm going to invest some days in it now.

I will need need to look into this further Stefan. Thank you for this valuable information.

Tadeusz

You're welcome Tadeusz.
I hope you come back here and we can grow this Pinterest thing together.
Have a great time, Stefan

I have a question.
Some say we should post a lot of pins from other sites, others say we should not.
What do you suggest?

It depends upon your personal brand.

Some like to post a balance of found and authored links. Their audience trusts them to find AND write about the things they like.

Mixing in others' links also gives you more content to space out your regular postings, helping you to maintain currency.

I personally prefer a mix of own and found links from the people I subscribe to. Just seperate them nicely in your collections.

how do you separate them?

You can just create different boards. Just be sure that one of your boards is exclusively for your site, and the others are loosely allied to your content - say, like Thai food.

One of the other ways you can encourage people to join your Pinterest page is to allow one board where anyone can post. You might encourage people to share their own favourite Thailand posts there, or favourite pictures. But if you do this, you'll have to monitor it constantly for spammers.

great thank's a lot for now

Hey Stefan, I am in for this. Pinterest is a medium that really takes consistency and time to make effective. There are shortcuts for some mediums but not Pinterest. I think that is what appeals to me in the sense that the more investment it takes, the more others don't stick it out for the long run.

Count me in for sure. I have two accounts, one that is somewhat established and one that is new. I can utilize both to pin and repin others posts from.

Kevin

I am definitely in on this. I have read a little on this and have read if a few people having great success. I will be reading Karen's article.

I'm also interested and I'm in for sharing and following.

I use Pinterest a lot - not just to store up gazillions of visual references, home ideas, and recipes, but also to save articles for later reading.

I am ambivalent about purchasing ad boosts on Pinterest though, because I know how much the promoted pins offend some users. That's been one of the big shifts in the feed in recent times.

Hi, I want only for free.
Do you know how to set to rich pins with our all in one SEO plugin?
Thanks for looking in
Stefan

Karen has a fab post on just this:

thank's, great I just executed it.
Why isn't Kyle pushing this Pinterest thing a little more?

You can't push Pinterest hard for everyone, because it's not for everyone's niche. I think you need to be judicious about how you invest time in social media. Pinterest has mostly female users, and they are older, and spending more money online according to the stats. This group might be your ideal tribe. But if it's not... then you may be looking to focus your social media efforts elsewhere.

I have to look at this... I did not pay much attention...

I use Pinterest to great effect. Most of my website traffic comes from Pinterest. You need to consider it as a search engine and a strategy is required to get the best results.
I would be definitely be up for a Pinterest share.

We have to do this.
see you, Stefan

What would you say is the first thing I have to do within this srategy?

First step is to create tall pins that have visual impact. I use Canva which is free and has the right size templates for all of the Social media Platforms that you can use.
You also want to make sure they are Rich Pins otherwise they could be stolen and redirected to someone else's site.
I did a training on this. With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Wow, that's what I was just looking for, many thanks.
The tall pins I already created, at least some:)
All the best, see you, Stefan

Nothing like using visuals to find visuals. U Tube is a great place to enter!
