Slow and Steady

Well I've been a WA member for nearly a month now but I'm still in the beginning phase of training. When I joined up, I thought I could commit more time then I actually have been able to. This has been due to so many different things, like illness, family, work, etc... I've been stressing myself out about how much I haven't been able to work on my site that I actually started phsycing myself out about continuing training!

And then I realized that stressing about finishing quickly will just make me hate this project. Instead, I need to focus on finishing things at a realistic pace while enjoying myself and learning.

So this weekend, I'm going to brew myself a pot of delicious coffee, grab some cookies, and devote myself to WA!

Don't be stressing out because then you will become overwhelmed take it at your own pace and work slowly this is not a race to see who finishes first. Just follow the training step by step and take notes so you have something to refer back to and take it one day at a time. Life happens and there are things out of our control so don't worry about it too much.

Hi, my name is jason and I'm in the same boat I haven't had to much time...and i really don't think I'm doing it right

I don't think there's a wrong way.... Just follow the training step by step and you're on the right track.

The great thing about WA is that it is setup to be self paced. There's no need for speed. Just make sure that you understand each step before moving on to the next.

One of the biggest things that I found to help me was to use a siterubix domain site as a testing ground. Load it with the same theme and etc as your regular site. Put up a couple of pages of gibberish content and posts (so they won't later be seen as duplicate on your regular site), then try anything new in there BEFORE putting it/using it on your real site. This will allow you to see if there are any kind of conflicts without messing up your actual site.

Hi Zafiro. Don't get stressed out about it. The main thing is to keep on pushing and not to give up. I think this training of mine can help you. All the best
Hennie

It's the old story of the tortoise and the hare. It's a marathon not a sprint. You can do this successfully with small bits of time. That's one of the reasons that the training is broken up into small bites.
