The Beginning....

and looking towards the future!

So this is only my first month as a premium and it has been a long one. Research research and more research! I work a full time job, 60+ hrs a week. Right when I get home I hop on my laptop, watch some courses... research, work on site... add some content. Then when I've reached that point where I can barely keep my eyes open I decide to hit the hay. I might get 3-4 hrs of sleep and when I go to roll over, if there is the slightest part of my mind awake enough for some memory action then my head starts racing with ideas and next thing you know I'm right back at it lol. Day after day I just keep on truckin, I don't know how!

The Aim...

I've decided to aim my niche in the cell phones department... Lots of action there and its something I can see always being relevant in the future (as long as I keep my content relevant)! Starting out affiliating with Amazon until I can get my site accepted my Iphone and Samsung, the big dogs. It is for sure a very competitive niche I'll tell you that. Writing content that every service provider could beat you in, Verizon, AT&T, Print, T-Mobile, Straight Talk. Going up against sites that excell in cell phone niches like DigitalTrends, Tomsguide and many more. It was overwhelming at first and I wanted to give up and find something else. BUT... literally, with enough effort and keyword research it is always possible to out beat your competition in a post topic that they didn't get too much into! I made up my mind, and I'm sticking to it! I'm coming for you bigs, I know it wont be easier, but I plan on stealing some of that traffic lol!

Your mind made up, it is... but much to learn, you will

If only we could all speak "Yoda". Soooo..... If I could give any useful info to people out there who are just getting started, I would suggest that you take your time and research what you are unsure of. There is so many plugins and themes out there that you can really get lost or stuck on just the vibe of how you want things to go. Make a plan for every day to focus on specific things! Its very VERY easy to start one thing and get swept away into trying or editing another thing. For beginners, building a website has a lot to pack into your brain and if your like me and you wanna learn it all then it can be overwelming for sure. Take time to fully understand everything that you are being taught here on WA. We all want to get this rolling and try make money as fast as possible, that or get your own website up and running ASAP... But trust me, you will hit a point.... and say, "Whaaaaaa", when you go too fast and come across a roadblock. Play with your website, learn what it can and cant do. Learn what you want it to do! Find a plugin for that, and then keep on learning and take your time! You will have a better product (website) in the long run.

If you go down the road that others won't..... It will take you places

Learning it all is good though! Think about where you could take this knowledge! Your goal at the moment might be to become and affiliate and make money on the side or make it a full time job but think of the future! You could easily take what you learn here at WA and get some income rolling but where do you go from there??? Once you learn the basics it only gets easier from there! Hey, some day you could turn your very own hobby into your job, a job you enjoy!!!! And guess what, you already know how to make a website and BOOM!!! Now your not relying on small to moderate commission percentages, your bringing home the real dough! That's my future goal! I plan on saving up enough money for my very own Epilog Laser Engraver, quiting my job and taking my website knowledge with me to make my very own site! It may be years from now I really dont know! But my time hear at WA will for sure serve me now and in the future, and it will for you too! Just keep that head up and keep on truckin!

The Future!

So there is lots to do! But every day when I wake up early I feel a little nautious just thinking of it. Life is hard for us all, but yet we are all still here keeping our heads up. What do I do when I you start making money!? Do you keep maximizing your sites output and take full advantage of purchasing those pro versions of your plugins!? I would, I will!!! Bringing in more and more traffic should be the next goal after you start seeing it coming right? I won't stop!!! I CAN'T STOP!!! Not till this bad boy is rolling! My goals for the next 3 months would be to have my site finished, well.... your never really finished right, but you get what I mean. There is always room for improvement! By 6 months I'd like to have my site at the point where I can sit back, update, roll in new content here and there and focus more and more on keyword research to better target traffic. It seems like such a long and treaturous road from hear to there, but I have never been so excited to do this! I'm just happy I can be part of this great WA family and I'm looking forward to staying!

I've reached my 1,000 words........ uhh can I go now....... lol jk!
